በ2017 ዓ/ም በቅድመ ምረቃ መደበኛ መርሃ ግብር በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ወደ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተማሪዎች ምደባ እንደማይኖር ይታወቃል።

በመንግስት ስኮላርሺፕ እንዲሁም በግል ከፍላችሁ በዩኒቨርሲቲያችን መማር ለምትፈልጉ በሙሉ የአ.አ.ዩ የሚያወጣውን የመግቢያ ፈተና (UAT) እንዲሁም ሌሎች መስፈርቶች ማሟላት ይጠበቅባችኋል፡፡

ዩኒቨርሲቲው ራስ ገዝ መሆኑን ተከትሎ በራሱ የቅበላ ሥርዓት ተቀብሎ ለማስተማር ምዝገባ እያከናወነ መሆኑንም አስታውቋል፡፡

በቅርቡም ያዘጋጀውን የተማሪዎች መግቢያ ፈተና እንደሚሰጥና ብቃትን፣ ብዝኀነትንና ፍትሐዊነትን ማዕከል አድርጎ እንደሚቀበል በማኅበራዊ ትስስር ገጹ ገልጿል፡፡

ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘ በ2016 የትምህርት ዘመን የ12ኛ ክፍል ማጠናቀቂያ ፈተና ወስደው 500 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያዝመዘገቡ 200 ተማሪዎችን በውድድር ነፃ የትምህርት እድል ከመኝታና የካፌ አገልግሎት ጋር እንደሚሰጥ አስታውቋል፡፡

ይህም ዩኒቨርሲቲው ብቃትና ተሰጥዖ ያላቸው ተማሪዎች መዳረሻ ለመሆን ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት እንደሚያሳይ ነው የገለጸው፡፡
