Last week, the Esprito team had an incredible experience at the three-day TON Bootcamp in the St. Petersburg! The event was an intense mix of innovation, networking, and collaboration that brought together TON’s brightest minds and projects.
More than 50 projects pitched their visions on Sunday, showcasing the diverse potential within the TON ecosystem. The Esprito team also had the chance to explore exciting possibilities for cooperation with MEXC cryptocurrency exchange and catch up with friends from the TON Foundation.

Since February 2024, the Esprito team has been working hard to adapt its proprietary symbolic engine for TON blockchain languages, Tact and FunC.
During the largest TON blockchain conference, TON Gateway, Anton Trunov, the Tact development team lead, publicly announced the official launch of the Esprito TON Symbolic Analyzer (TSA). In his keynote presentation to the TON developer community, Anton highlighted the importance of secure smart contracts and shared valuable insights on how TSA can be used to create more secure and reliable TON projects.
Esprito TSA is an open-source project available to all TON developers. It analyzes smart contracts at the bytecode level, is extensible with custom user rules, and maintains minimal false positives. Please give it a try and share your feedback to help us make the TON blockchain more secure and reliable.

At the Gateway event, the TON Core team announced a new language for smart contract development. It is a fork of the existing FunC language, which will continue to be supported. TOLK provides a more accessible syntax while retaining essential low-level features.
So far there are three TON languages: Tact, FunC and TOLK. Esprito will support and develop tools for all of them.

This milestone introduces advanced FunC checks for input parameters, values from persistent contract data, and predefined methods for managing control flow. These features enable the TSA to verify "happy paths" within smart contracts and identify potential errors, whether accidental or intentional.
This functionality is particularly effective in detecting honeypot contracts, making it a powerful tool for ensuring the security of the TON ecosystem.
For example, during a recent analysis of a scam token masquerading as DOGS, the Esprito TSA identified that the token blacklisted the STON.fi address, preventing users from selling their tokens. This example demonstrates the TSA's capability to uncover malicious behavior and protect users from fraudulent schemes.

This milestone is a critical part of our project because communication between smart contracts is a core feature of the TON blockchain. Instead of analyzing each contract on its own, we focus on how a chain of connected contracts works together.
This approach helps solve two major issues. First, it reduces unnecessary error alerts caused by how data is packaged and unpackaged. Second, it helps us detect unreliable contracts (known as honeypots) that scam users by manipulating these interactions through a series of transactions.
At this stage, our prototype supports the essential feature of passing messages between contracts written in FunC code, and we’re now working to enable this for contracts that are already deployed.

Hi everyone! Big update from Esprito Protocol!
In January 2025, we launched a honeypot detection tool for TON smart contracts.
As of March 3, 2025, it has scanned 21,179 TON jettons, identifying 609 unique smart contracts, 287 of them were flagged as honeypots. We plan to continue our work on scam detection technologies to keep TON users safe.
