the prison of the body IS
the cauldron of the mind
what foments
and physically
manifests
alchemical,
pleomorphic,
transmutational,
elemental, broad in variety,
application, creative force,
and essential kindness
the body is capable
of many amazing things
that prisons can't or couldn't
so when we feel imprisoned
we reshape ourselves
dream anew
and are liberated

Susan Raffo wrote,

' I was recently listening to someone explain that what we call stress is actually fear, but western thought sees fear as a weakness and so has shapeshifted the experience of fear - which is internal - to the narrative of stress - which is more about how the outside environment impacts our sense of self. It’s a kind of subtle collective override. And so I want to name my sped up heartbeat as fear: the fear of being visible to a stranger and uncertain about what might happen in our encounter. The fear of being alone when the weather turns intense. The fear of not knowing where I am going to sleep at night. The fear of giving up and disappointing people. The fear of dissociating and somehow wasting this experience. The fear of the semi trucks hurtling by a few feet from where I am walking. The fear of not having enough water, food or warmth.

The word β€œfear” is an old German word which first meant β€œdanger.” It’s older root means to try, to risk. In the 1400s, the word fear started to mean a feeling of dread and reverence for God and I have no idea what to do with that. Everything about what I just wrote is a poem, a story, an arc of memories. The word terror means β€œgreat fear, dread, alarm, panic” and the word β€œhorror” comes from an old word meaning β€œto bristle” and refers to the gooseflesh and hair raising that happens when we are truly frightened. And finally, the word β€œscare” is an old Norse word and means β€œtimid, shy, to shrink from, to avert.” '

In the Intuitive Network, we build bridges between communities β€” and between community members. We help everyone (everywhere) to recognize, get to know, and collaborate with one another even in the midst of great challenges and uncertainty.

Our arts immersions are group process activities and community spaces where someone experiencing intensity, invisibility, disablement, or ongoing violence (of any kind) can be increasingly heard, cared for, respected, honored, and understood.

We help communities to deepen resilience and integrity through connecting with the most severely affected people and living beings who are part of the body of that community β€” growing long-lasting relationships, regenerative nourishment, and powerful roots.

' This is what we feed our sickest population.

It’s basically a blend of water, synthetic sugar, corn starch and inflammatory oils.

Tell me why the above ingredients and antifreeze need to be in our nutritional supplements and thickened liquids? '

' Getting ready for another zoom workshop, What the Medical Community Needs to Know About Sx Trafficking.

Survivor centered care is a necessity. When the medical community learns from those who are making money to "save" us...the medical community is learning how to work with cops and greedy NGOs...oftentimes learning the same harmful practices those organizations are participating in.

They are NOT learning about what survivors need.

We need to shift the narrative to the reality of what survivors need and want...because the funding is there...but the resources we want are not available to us survivors.

' Theon was headmaster at the Museum of Alexandria, the place dedicated to the Muses, daughters of the ancient goddess of memory, Mnemosyne.
Each of the Muses embodied a "sacred art" such as astronomy, lyric poetry, and history.
The nine daughters of Memory presented a model for the curriculum of the Mystery Schools.
Museums today are merely repositories of relics from the past, but the Alexandrian Museum was the setting for a wide range of living traditions, truly a center of higher education.
The campus spread along the horseshoe-shaped port dominated by its Pharos, the famous four-hundred-foot-high lighthouse that ranked among the Seven Wonders of the World.
It included many independent academies dedicated to subjects as diverse as geometry and sacred dance, and training guilds that produced a constant stream of graduates in fields such as sculpture, botany, navigation, herbology, engineering, and medicine.
The assemblies and guilds associated with the Royal Library had their own libraries and teaching faculties. '
