اذكر بيوم من الايام جنت بحوار بمقابلة مع شخص.. كان Passive listener

لاحظته اثناء المقابلة عليه صفات:
- مشغول ومشتت
- ما مركز بكلامي
- كان يشتغل باوراق وعينه عليها
- ما مبين مهتم نهائياً
كنتيجة، ما كان متفاعل، كان يسمع فقط كلام، وأكيد كانت مقابلة سيئة

على عكس كثير من المقابلات الثانية كانوا:
- مركزين ومأجلين اي شغل ثاني، حتى لو احد اتصل بيهم
- اكو لغة جسد (تلويح بالرأس، انتباه لإيماءات اليد وتعابير الوجه، تعابير تدل على التركيز)
- كانوا يسألون عن توضيح اذا نطيت فكرة غير واضحة، اشارة انهم مهتمين ان يفهمون التفاصيل
- كانوا ينطون فيدباك مثل (افهم قصدك، اكيد من حقك هذا، متتصور هذا التصرف غلط؟، الخ)

كنتيجة، ما سمعوا فقط الكلمات، كانت الكلمات تمثل 30% فقط من الرسالة، لكنهم بانتباههم وصلت الهم ال100% الكاملة

تخيلوا لو كان الحوار عن مشكلة بشركة.. عن حدث مهم.. عن عمل مشترك بين فريق

أي فريق من الفريقين راح يطلع النتائج الافضل؟

فهذه فكرة المستمع النشط Active listener
من الصفات الاساسية بالتواصل بكل العلاقات، سواء مع اخ او صديق او مدير او زميل عمل

Active listening:
- Strengthens trust and relationships
- Enhances problem-solving and decision-making
- Guarantees empathy and understanding
- Improves collaboration and teamwork
- Resolves conflict and enhances communication
- Improves personal and professional growth

كيف تكون مستمع نشط ناجح؟
- كون متواجد ومركز بالكامل (لا يكون جزء منك مشتت بالشغل او التليفون او الاوراق او الدفتر.. أجل كل شي ثاني)
- لغة الجسد (Eye contact, تلويح الرأس بالموافقة او الفهم، تعابير الوجه)
- جلسة مفتوحة، بيها استرخاء وميلان للأمام اشارةً بالاهتمام والتقدير للمتحدث
- اجابات تدل على الانتباه والتركيز (اكيد كان هذا صعب؟، شنو قصدك بهذي النقطة؟)
- اعادة صياغة النقاط الرئيسية بكلام المتكلم اله بأجابة (افهم انك تقصد كذا وكذا وكذا)

وبالنهاية اقتبس عن نصيحة اخذتها عن شخص وخلتني اتعلم هذي المهارة
"زيد احنا بالمصطلح الدارج نكول الله خلق النا لسان واحد واذنين ثنين"
اشارة ان الاستماع دائما اهم من الكلام

Memory is essentially reconstructive.

We tend to imagine the brain to be a sort of a large library with innumerable shelves of books, or albums of pictures; when we remember a moment, it is simply retrieved/recalled from the library where it was quietly sitting.

But that's not how we humans operate. A camera is a passive instrument; it simply lets the light through, and records whatever it receives, while the eye is an active organ; it seeks what it wants to perceive. The eyes do not capture the moment like cameras do, and they are not sculptors that etch memories onto the brain.

What happens instead is that we perceive mainly what is significant to us and we discard the rest of the picture. A simple example is how you can listen to and understand someone's speech in the middle of a loud room. Yet, if you record that same situation with a microphone, you'll only hear a cacophony. This is because your ear listens actively; it perceives. While your microphone merely receives whatever input is there.

Afterwards, this perception is committed to memory, but not in its exact form. Your memory only keeps the gist of it. So when we remember something, we reconstruct the details from the gist. We do not recall them because they simply did not exist prior to the moment of remembrance. It's like a fridge that, instead of having cake in it, only has a recipe for making cake. Everytime you use that recipe, you'll make a slightly different cake.

This is an oversimplification. But it's posted on a telegram channel after all...
