تصميم ناطحات السحاب دائمًا بيه مشاكل: أول شي، سرعة الرياح تكون أعلى كلما ترتفع عن الأرض، بالنتيجة الرياح ممكن تدفع الطوابق العلوية وتخلي البناية تميل بشكل خطِر وممكن تسقط. ثاني شي، الزلازل، حتى البسيطة منها، تأثيرها رح يصير خطِر بالنسبة لبناية عمودية طولها 100 متر وقاعدتها صغيرة مقارنةً بطولها.

المهم، شتسوي لما ناطحة السحاب مالتك معرضة للمَيَلان؟ تخلي بداخلها كرة عملاقة من الكونكريت أو الفولاذ بحيث تصير پندول Pendulum، وتربط بيه سبرنگة من جوة، بحيث لما تميل البناية لليمنة، الجاذبية والسبرنگة رح يجرّن الپندول للجهة المعاكسة ويوازننها.
