"According to Buddha, the root problem is ignorance, which encourages attachments that lead to desires and cravings, which bring dissatisfaction and discontent. And, if ignorance is the problem, the solution must be knowledge. So insight is redemption. Understanding is salvation."
I have just come from a party where I was its life and soul; witticisms streamed from my lips, everyone laughed and admired me, but I went away... and I wanted to shoot myself.

"Ein Fichtenbaum steht einsam" By Heinrich Heine
"There stands a lonely pine-tree"
Translated by Emma Lazarus
Translated by Emma Lazarus
Since human nature is contradictory and conflictive in its very essence, therefore, any work that tries to explain human nature must have a room for paradox and nonsense. Such a work would inevitably contain some opposing concepts and contradictory statements and yet remain functional and practical.
A work that tries to explain human nature yet does not account for contradictions at its heart, is not a true description of what human nature is, but a statement of what it should be.
Such a work simply tries to forcefully dictate logic and uniformity on the human soul and mind.
