I remembered John Greene's idea of instincts & skills.
He says that mastery (of any skill) simply means that u become so acquainted with the skill until it becomes instinctual. Something like a second-nature.
That's why professionals have a reliable "hunch".
And that's why when we say thay we can do something easily and perfectly, we say: "like riding a bike". Cuz riding a bike is almost an instinct once u master it.
