What he meant is that we change as we grow up. Sometimes we change so dramatically that our 15 years-old self is an entirely different person from our 25 year-old self. In other words... Our life is a community work. It's a village occupied by only one person at a time. And our personal history is simply the history of a whole community

بمعنى أنّها تتزين وتتجمل (تزدان) بالمنع والصدود عن محبِّيها والراغبين بها، فالبُخل الذي يجعل غيرَها قبيحًا، يجعلها أجمل. فهي تبخل وترفض وهذا ما يزيّنها، في الوقت الذي يحاول غيرُها أنْ يزيّن ذاته بصفات السماحة والكرم والعطاء (البذل)

الأُدباء العرب دائمًا مبدعين بالغزل لما يجيبون صفات مذمومة عند باقي الناس لكنها مرغوبة بالحبيب... بهالطريقة يصفون الحبيب بوصف متناقض ممتنع لا يجوز أنْ يوصف به غيره، لأن لو وصِفَ به غيرُه لكان ذمًا للموصوف.

The worst thing about death is that your name and legacy will not be yours anymore. People will create your posthumous image in whichever way they want, and they'll capitalize on your name.

That's why it's so much more practical to live for your cause, that to become a martyr.

The brain and PMS

So GABA is a molecule that we find in the brain... It's the main inhibitory thing there, this simply means that it "shuts down" or "calms down" your brain signals.

Here's a weird thing:
Progesterone (a female sex hormone) can bind to GABA receptors and activates them, therefore "calming down" the brain during certain times of the reproductive cycle.
Women with PMS possibly have a problem in their GABA receptors that reduces progesterone's ability to bind to the receptors, therefore the brain doesn't calm down... Therefore PMS
