Romanian orphanages ملاجئ الأيتام الرومانية بالستينات من القرن الماضي، حكومة رومانيا (الشيوعية آنذاك) قررت تمنع الإجهاض ووسائل منع الحمل نهائياً، وهذا لأن الدكتاتور نيكولاي تشاوشسكو جان يؤمن بأنه النمو السكاني يؤدي لنمو إقتصادي. بالنتيجة... هالشي أدى لإنفجار…
لما نيكولاي تشاوشسكو منع الإجهاض وكل وسائل منع الحمل بالستينيات (اقرة البوست الفوك حتى تعرف ليش)، معدل النمو السكاني صعد كلش هواي، بس بالثمانينيات رجع إنخفض... نتيجة لهذا قرر الدكتاتور ما يأتي:
تأسيس (شرطة لمراقبة الحمل Menstruation police) اللي همّ عبارة عن فرق جوالة من أطباء نسائية، يروحون للنساء خلال أوقات عملهن ويجرولهن إختبارات حمل مفاجئة... اذا جانن حوامل، رح يتم مراقبتهن لحد ولادتهن والتأكد من سلامة الطفل... وإذا لا، وإستمرن لفترة طويلة بدون حمل، يتم فرض عقوبة عليهن لعدم الحمل (وببعض الحالات حتى توصل للإعتقال).
