وحدة من الأفكار اللي أثارت إنتباهي بكتاب التأملات لماركوس أوريليوس... هي فكرة أن حياتنا بالحقيقة ما تشمل إلا اللحظة الحاضرة، فالماضي ولى بلا رجعة، والمستقبل إحتمالي، متغير وغير أكيد. فالإنسان ما يملك إلا اللحظة الحاضرة التي يعيشها. بالتالي لا يوجد فرق بين حياة طفل رضيع عمره 3 أيام، وبين معمّر عمره قرن من الزمن لأن كلهم ما يملكون إلا اللحظة الحاضرة اللي همة بيها... وبس.
