Sports and games (board, card, and multiplayer video games... etc) could be simplified, controlled social environments in which people can be vindictive, competitive, and step on other people's boundaries & limits without fear of causing any harm to their social bonds to those people.

Actually, after giving it some thought:
They might serve as social & psychological tests or simulations to find out how other people will react in certain situations (specially when you step on their tails, like in killing their queen in chess)

We're a disappointing generation who's okay with being disappointing

بالنسبة لنيتشه، فإنّ مفهوم Amor fati "أنْ تُحبّ قَدَرَك" يمثّل تمردًا على الزمن. فالماضي الذي لا تستطيع الإرادةُ تغييرَه، سوف تتمرد عليه من خلال أنْ تتقبله كما هو، بلا تغيير ولا تعديل. فكأنّ الإرادةَ "أرادت" للماضي أنْ يبقى كما كان، فيكون في قبضتها وماثلًا لإرادتها. أنْ تحبَّ قَدَرَك كما هو، هو خُدعة ذكية وخفّة يدٍ تَخلقُ الإيحاء بفرضِ السيطرة على ماضي ومصير الإنسان.
"فالزمن يفترس أبناءه" كما يقول نيتشه، وحبُّ الإنسان لقَدَره، هو مثل ابتسامةِ المهزوم وهي تسلب لذة النصر من مُفتَرِسِها؛ الانتقام الوحيد الذي تملكه الإرادةُ ضد الزمان والماضي.

بوقت نحت التمثال، ليوناردو جان تلميذ باستديو فيروكيو. يُقال أنّ النحات فيروكيو استخدم ليوناردو، اللي جان عمره 14 آنذاك، كنموذج للتمثال، ولهذا البعض يعتبرون وجه التمثال هو نفسه وجه ليوناردو المراهق.
