Tanzan and Ekido were once travelling together down a muddy road. A heavy rain was still falling. Coming around a bend, they met a lovely girl in a silk kimono and sash, unable to cross the intersection.

هي مسألة بالتوافقيات، بالتحديد الcombinatorial optimization تكول: وصل تاجر لدولة بيها مدن عددها n وهو يريد يروح لكل مدينة منهن مرة وحدة وبأقصر طريق لحد ميرجع لنقطة البداية... شنو هو الطريق الاقصر بشكل إجمالي علمود ياخذه التاجر؟

الهدف من المسألة هو إيجاد خوارزمية لحلها لما يكون n يساوي عدد جبير (لأن كلما تكبر n كلما تزيد صعوبة المسألة بشكل أسي).
هيج خوارزميات تكون كلش مهمة بالاشياء اللي تتطلب كمية جبيرة من التخطيط والclustering مثل الشبكات العصبية الاصطناعية artificial neural networks وشبكات الطرق مال السيارات وحتى بكيفية توصيل الطلبات بالنسبة لشركات التوصيل.

من وقت صياغة المسألة لأول مرة سنة 1930 ولحد اليوم، تم إقتراح الكثير من الخوارزميات، وحدة منهن إستخدمت الـ(branch and bound) -قسمت المسألة لوحدات أصغر وراها ربطتهن سوة- كدرت تحل المسألة لحد n=85,900 وما زال العمل موجود على طرق حل اسرع واقوى من هاي الطريقة.
