وكانت العرب تَقولُ: إنَّ عِظامَ المَوْتَى تَصِيرُ هامَةً (أَيْ بومةً) فتَطِيرُ. والصَّدَى هو الذَّكَرُ من البُومِ، وكانت العرب تقول: إذا قُتلَ قَتِيلٌ فلم يُدرَك به الثَّأرُ خَرجَ من رَأْسِه طائِرٌ كالبُومَة، هو طَير الصَّدى، فيصيح على قَبرِه: اسقُونِي اسقُونِي فإن قُتِل قاتِلُه كَفَّ عن صِياحه.

بعد هجران الفن والموسيقى صار الناس يظنون قصيدة أبي الطيب المتنبي - المغناة بطريقة غناء الشعر قديمًا - أنشودةً إرهابية !

للي ما يعرف، الولد هنا ناشر فيديو لروحه (وهو ملتحي وحاف شواربه) ووياه قصيدة للمتنبي من إلقاء أُسامة الواعظ... وكم واحد شايف المنشور وعباله هاي أُنشودة د1عشية

بنفس القصيدة، أبو الطيب يكول:
وماذا بمِصرَ ببغدادَ من المُضحِكاتِ
ولكنّه ضَحِكٌ كالبُكا

ثانيًا، مع كامل احترامي للولد، بس وين اكو د1عشي اسمه علي كيكي ويبيع "مصاص ونستلة" على كولته

أعتب عليه بشغلة وحدة
لو حاط "سلي الرماح العوالي" جان صار الوضع يضحك أكثر (صاحب القصيدة، صفي الدين الحلي، شيعي قح)

على كولة تميم... إنّه لَزَمانٌ غريب أنْ يَحتاجَ حتى أبو الطيبِ فيه إلى الإنصاف

Meditations on impermanence

I had a childhood habit which I still do occassionally, where I draw maps of imaginary worlds and fantasize about the histories, battles, civilizations, languages, and religions that are occuring in the confines of these vast continents and uncharted seas. I enjoy daydreaming wild worlds, luxurious cities, dark and fanatic cults, and elaborate events of history, just in the same way I enjoy learning about our real world and toying with ideas and ideologies... all within the dark vault of my skull and the white field of a page.

But there's one thought. One that never ceases to disturb and impress at the same time: that it takes one bullet to the head for all of it to spill down onto the ground. An endless and convoluted mansion of gyri and bone, an intricate Wunderkammer of the mind, and it's all so fragile that almost anything can burn it down to the ground, like an unknown library of Alexandria.

I never trusted anything the way I trust my mind. Books and computer notes are all too easy to be lost or perish. But your mind you carry with you whenever you go, and you lose it only if you lose yourself. What's one more loss when you've already lost yourself?

But this one thought keeps nagging me and reminding me that even this is perishable. And that the blind desire for immortality and the agitated effort to make something that outlives you are all, in the final reckoning, futile and fruitless.

الألفاظُ خَدَمُ المعاني والمُصرَّفةُ في حكمها، وكانت المعاني هي المالكةُ سياستها، المُستَحَقَّةُ طاعتَها. فمَن نَصَرَ اللفظَ على المعنى كانَ كَمَن أزالَ الشيءَ عن جهته، وأحالَه عن طبيعَتِه، وذلك مظنّةُ الاستكراه، وفيه فَتحُ أبوابِ العيب، والتّعرُّضُ للشَّين.
