«اللّهم إنْ كانَ هذا يُرضِيك فَخُذ حَتّى تَرضىٰ»

أفتقد الشدائد التي تذكرني بسنن الحياة؛ لا حباً بها، ولكن رغبةً في التخلص من الانزواء في أوهام الحياة الرخيّة. ذلك الرخاء الذي إن طال، يحجب عن عينك حقيقة الحياة بسعادتها وشقائها، بطيبها ومرّها، يظهر لك أحد جوانبها ويُغيّب الآخر. فهي (الشدائد) تعزز المرونة النفسية للإنسان وتُعيد ترتيب أولوياته في الحياة، على أن تبقى محفورةً في ذاكرة الإنسان كتجربة رسمتْ له طريق النضج. وإن إهمالها في الذاكرة وجعلها في طي النسيان بمجرد انقضائها وعدم التفكّر بها هو إهدارٌ للفرص.

الحُرُّ: الكريم، مِن خَيرِ النَّاس وأفضَلِهم. وحُرِّيَّةُ العربِ: أَشرافُهم

وما عادةٌ للبخيلِ العطاء
ولا عادَةٌ للكَريمِ الطلب

ولا الحُرُّ عادَتُه أنْ يَهاب
ولا النَذلُ عادَتُه أنْ يَهَب

فصاح بهم (ع): ويحَكم يا شيعة آل أبي سفيان! إنْ لَم يكن لكم دِينٌ وكُنتم لا تخافون المعاد، فكونوا أحرارًا في دنياكم وارجعوا إلى أحسابكم إذ كنتم أعرابًا

فناداه شمر فقال: ما تقول يا ابن فاطمة؟

قال: أقول، أنا الذي أقاتلكم، وتقاتلوني، والنساء ليس عليهن جناح فامنعوا عتاتكم عن التعرض لحرمي ما دمت حيًا

فقال شمر: لك هذا، ثم صاح: إليكم عن حرم الرجل، فاقصدوه في نفسه فلعَمري لهو كفو كريم.

معنى قولِه (ع) أنّهم وإنْ لَم يكونوا مسلمين قلبًا وخُلقًا، فهو يطلب منهم أنْ يتخلّقوا بأخلاقِ الأحرارِ من العرب من الشرف والمروءة.

هذا يذكرني بالنقاش اللي ما يخلص حول أنّ الدين هو أصل الأخلاق لو لا. الإسلام أتى ليتمم "مكارم الأخلاق" إذ لَم يُنكِر ما لعرب الجاهلية من أخلاق الأحرار.

باختصار: هسة حتى اذا متصدك لا بالله ولا بمحمد، خلي تكون عندك أخلاق الأحرار

If reason is this highly desirable power to discover the truth, why don’t  people endowed with it use it to the best of their capacities all the time?
After all, we expect all sighted people to see what others see. Show several  people a tree or a sunset, and you expect them all to see a tree or a sunset.
Ask, on the other hand, several people to reason about a variety of questions, from logical problems to social issues, and what might surprise you is their coming to the same conclusions. If reason, like perception, worked to provide us with an adequate grasp of the way things really are, this should be deeply puzzling.
