Since human nature is contradictory and conflictive in its very essence, therefore, any work that tries to explain human nature must have a room for paradox and nonsense. Such a work would inevitably contain some opposing concepts and contradictory statementsโฆ
A serious and good philosophical work could be written consisting entirely of jokes.

Pyrrhonism was a philosophy in ancient Greece that advocated "suspension of judgement" as a way of reaching perfect bliss ยซataraxiaยป. In short, if you suspend your judgement (dogma) about anything and everything, you'll reach serenity and calmness.
The founder of this philosophy, Pyrrho, travelled with Alexander the great to India and stayed there for more than a year. There, he met with Indian philosophers (gymnosophists) and Persian priests (Magi). A lot of his ideas have an interesting resemblance with Buddhist ideas, like "the three marks of existence."

Can you imagine the rhetorical and logical dexterity these guys have? They can present any argument for/against anything.
There is much envy in every act of condemnation.

Most of us would disagree with the premise that technological progress is a plain disaster, but actually, many well-respected philosophers and social theorists have defended similar views.
What singles out Kaczynski, [some] would claim, is that he pushed this radically pessimistic viewpoint to its logical consequences and acted accordingly. As one of his biographers put it: โKaczynski, in short, had become a cold-blooded killer not despite of his intellect, but because of it.โ
