Some people may find comfort and meaning in a structured life with clear expectations and routines, while others may feel stifled and prefer a more open-ended approach. The absence of structure in free-time does not necessarily mean (or lead to) that life is meaningless or lacking in purpose.
Instead, free-time can be an opportunity to reflect, recharge, and explore new interests and activities. A blank page can also be seen as an opportunity to create and shape one's own story, rather than simply being a void of meaning.

When we are occupied with responsibilities and activities, we are able to immerse ourselves in a context and contribute to the unfolding story of our lives. This can give us a sense of control and agency, as we actively shape the events and experiences that make up our story.
