Social structures like religion allow you to wash yourselves of your sociopathic behaviors, atone, and be absolved and start over fresh and pure. I used to call my bad behaviors sins. Now I’m just calling them psychopathic behaviors, something I won’t get rid of or feel guilty about ever again.
