Actually, the RBC is a “bag” that can be deformed into almost any shape. Furthermore, because the normal RBC cell has a great excess
of cell membrane for the quantity of material inside, deformation does not stretch the membrane greatly and, consequently, does not rupture the cell, as would be the case with many other cells.

هو الfancy name لعملية تكوين كريات الدم الحمر 🌚🍻

بالأجنة:
- بالأشهر الثلاثة الاولى، تتكون الRBCs بطبقة الmesenchyma الموجودة بلyolk sac

- بالاشهر الثلاثة الوراها رح يبدي تكوين الRBCs بالكبد بشكل اساسي (ولهذا هاي المرحلة يسموها بلhepatic stage)، وهمين بالطحال والأعضاء اللمفية.

- بالاشهر الاخيرة رح يبدي نخاع العظم bone marrow وية الكبد بتكوين أغلب الRBCs

بالبالغين:
لحد عمر ال20، البالغين يصنعون الRBCs بنخاع كل العظام تقريباً (العظام الطويلة والمسطحة). لكن ورة عمر ال20 نخاع العظام الطويلة يتحول لyellow marrow يخزن الدهون بدون ميصنع كريات الدم الحمر. وينحصر تصنيعهن بلmembranous bones مثل:
- Sternum
- Ribs
- vertebrae
- Ilia (ilium)
- Scapula
- ends of long bones
لأن هاي العظام هي الوحيدة التحتوي على الred marrow اللي يتم بيه تصنيع كريات الدم

In case the bone marrow is damaged, liver and spleen will start producing RBCs to compensate the loss
