يمثل السيف الأكبر هارالد المنتصر، وباقي السيوف الملوك المهزومين، وبصورة عامة يمثل النصب أيضاً السلام، حيث تم غرس السيوف في صخرة صلبة، لايمكن أخراجهم منها أبداً، وهو ما يشير إلى السلام الدائم.
