Some people describe mixed mania as the “tired but wired” feeling. You can feel extraordinarily pessimistic and hopeless, fatigued, and unable to concentrate, but still feel “revved,” anxious, irritable, driven, and sleep deprived, with your thoughts moving very rapidly.
