Hello everyone! hope you all had a lovely weekend. We'd like to invite you to an online event about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions under Horizon Europe on 23 March. this event aims to present the MSCA programme under Horizon Europe and to encourage organisations and researchers to apply. Participants will learn about the changes to the programme and hear from beneficiaries, project managers, and fellows about their experiences. Under Horizon Europe the MSCA will be simplified to make it easier to understand, implement, and apply for funding.

This information session is open to researchers, higher education institutions, research institutes, research funding agencies and any other organisations currently involved in the MSCA or interested in applying to future funding calls for the first time. Private sector organizations and other socio-economic actors are also encouraged to use the event to become acquainted with the opportunities the MSCA provides for intersectoral cooperation.

You can find all the information about the event here:
The event will be web-streamed live on 23 March 2021 (9:00 to 12:30 CET, Brussels time) and will be held in English. No registration is required.

Good morning everyone! we're excited to share with you an important online initiative consultation for universities and other research institutions in the Euro-Mediterranean region, that the Commission is undertaking in cooperation with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).

Climate change, renewable energies, and health are the priorities for stronger regional collaboration in research and innovation for the coming years in the Euro-Mediterranean region. These priorities were agreed upon at the Senior Official's 25th Meeting of the UfM Regional Platform in Research and Innovation in June 2020. A Technical expert group made up of leading academics was formed to develop a set of Roadmaps/Theories of Change and Impact Pathways (TCIPs) addressing key challenges and opportunities according to the priority areas as well as an assessment of horizontal linkages between these areas.

Online consultation is now open and will close on 7 May 2021. This is a crucial milestone for taking forward our dialogue for strengthening R&I collaboration in the Euro-Mediterranean region, and we now aim to gather as much input from stakeholders to help fine-tune the draft Roadmaps/TCIPs and to have them ready for adoption at the next meeting of the UfM Regional Platform in R&I, in June 2021.

We encourage you to participate, contribute and share your institution point of view, and hopefully, we will see the change in this important field soon. Wishing you all a lovely week!
