The contract has a total value of approximately 4 billion USD, and an estimated duration of five years.
Scope of work includes engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of two offshore compression complexes to support sustained and increased gas production from the North Field, the world’s largest non-associated natural gas field located offshore Qatar. Each complex will consist of a compression platform, living quarters platform, flare platform with gas combustion systems, and interconnecting bridges, with an approximate total weight of 68,000 tons per complex.

ACWA Power Company of Saudi Arabia🇸🇦 has signed the agreement for Azerbaijan’s first large-scale Caspian Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant🇦🇿, valued at approximately USD 400 million.

The project will be delivered by a consortium of ACWA Power and IC İÇTAŞ İNŞAAT SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. under a 27.5-year contract covering design, construction, financing, ownership, operation and maintenance.

The Caspian SWRO plant will have a capacity of around 300,000 m³ per day and will play a key role in strengthening Azerbaijan’s long-term water security.

Saipem🇮🇹 has secured two offshore POs from Aramco in Saudi Arabia🇸🇦 under its Long-Term Agreement, with a combined value of approximately USD 600 million. The first scope, CRPO 162, covers the EPCI of around 34 km of offshore pipelines with 20-inch and 30-inch diameters and related topside works, with a duration of 32 months. The second scope, CRPO 165, includes subsea interventions at the Marjan field and the EPC of 300 m of onshore pipeline and tie-ins, with a duration of 12 months.

Saipem also announced the restart of the jack-up rig Perro Negro 7 in Saudi Arabia from January 2026. The rig operates under a long-term contract awarded in 2011 and extended in 2023 to 2034 following a 12-month suspension in 2024. Perro Negro 7 is designed for water depths up to 375 feet and drilling depths of up to 9,100 meters.
