Dan's recent hottest messages - 4th June, 2019.

"KYC is a legal term which is independent of identity. KYC implies compliance with a number of laws"

Will Voice allows devs to implement their custom tokens?
> "It’s on eos public network so lots of opportunities for dapps to integrate"

Is the community free to create his own UI from the same voice DB?
> "Effectively. Voice.com will not host illegal content, but other interfaces can take their own risk

Will b1 have any power to censor specific (illegal) content, like child porn?
> "Voice.com will not host illegal content, but other interfaces can take their own risk"

Dan's recent hottest messages - 5th June, 2019.

"We have some major enhancements proposals coming. Very excited about how we will empower new use cases on eosio."

"Many other dapps will build on voice accounts which means users will signup for those apps as well. Voice is a public square, there are thousands of apps that can build on identity"

"B1 can easily delete data on its servers, only hashes and prunable data on chain so producers can delete it if they want. Trust me, we’ve thought through gdpr from both our side and bp."

"Also we have many unannounced plans for voice"

Azarus raises $1.8 million for blockchain-based competitive gaming challenge platform.

Galaxy Digital Fund recently led a $1.8M seed funding round for the Azarus "Smart Challenges" platform. Through Azarus gamers and streamers can set their own rules, stakes, and rewards, against their friends or audience, on the games they already play and get rewarded with AZA Credits. The platform was already launched in late 2018 as a Twitch extension and every challenge is operated in a transparent way and notarized on the EOS blockchain.

“Gaming is one of the verticals that we have identified as proof points for the efficacy of blockchain technology. As one of our initial investments, we were drawn to Azarus’ platform approach and the potential for Azarus to leverage blockchain to disrupt the entire gaming ecosystem.”

Brendan and the Old Man - 4th June, 2019.

"We’re aiming for the most widely and equitably distributed token in history to spread the vested interest far and wide / we believe maximising the power of tokenisation is key to disrupting existing network effects."

"You’ve been very critical on our process with EOS as well but it continues to outperform virtually every public blockchain out there in both adoption and other performance metrics"

"Social media is controlled by influencers and they will make serious sums by joining voice... we have an ad budget in the hundreds of millions, and structured plan to onbord influencers.. and that’s outside of the Value emitted in tokens..."

"The community always expects us to be a larger company than we are... We work harder to grow and deliver than any company I’ve ever seen, but expectations on is for a 2 year old company often seem impossible ... despite that Dan and I are committed to continuing to jump into the fray and give all of you access to us so you know as much as possible about what, why, and when"

Dan's recent hottest messages, latest VOICE Updates - 7th June, 2019.

"B1 is spending big to make voice successful. This won’t be your typical crypto project"

"When you voice it you spend your tokens and some are burned. Your reward for being out voiced comes from someone else paying/burning more. Not possible to game voice it. Likes are distributed on n^2 curve and each person has a limit on the number of active likes. It would be very hard to organize enough people to game it."

"We will have voice account recovery, but not eos account recovery."

"This year, I can’t give exact dates because not everything is in my control"

"Pixel master was an inspiration source... obviously there are major differences in voice."

The Platform Ecosystem of Goldchain.

The Goldchain team explained in their latest article, how the platform ecosystem of Goldchain will operate. Goldchain is a mining supply chain protocol that tracks the provenance of metals on the EOS blockchain and tokenizes metals for peer-to-peer transactions.

The first metal-backed token released by Goldchain is the TruGold token, which represents 1 troy ounce of gold. Through TruGold, users can also redeem physical metals by burning the tokens and registering an e-receipt. The e-receipt can then be used to claim physical metals from the vault and schedule for delivery of the physical metal.

EOSIO Labs Release: WebAuthn Example Web App for EOSIO YubiKey Support.

After the EOSIO 2 updates announced at B1June, Block. One released a a WebAuthn Example App to demonstrate how they intend to implement WebAuthn support for EOSIO.

"WebAuthn is a new World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standard accepted and pioneered globally by many major technology companies like Yubico, Google, and Microsoft, that enables secure authentication supported by all leading browsers and platforms."

via WebAuthn, users will have many more options to sign their transactions on the EOSIO blockchain. Indeed, it will be possible to use the newly announced EOSIO YubiKey and built-in platform authenticators like fingerprint sensors and other biometrics.

About the EOSIO YubiKey:
"Block.one and Yubico have partnered to offer hardware keys capable of securely and seamlessly signing transactions on EOSIO. This allows you to use a YubiKey for authentication and simply touch the device to sign a transaction. Because EOSIO 2.0+ supports signing transactions via the Web Authentication (WebAuthn) API supported by Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, there’s no longer a need for browser plugins or external authenticator programs to use EOSIO based blockchain applications. EOSIO branded YubiKeys will be available soon."

NodeONE is launching the EOS Vote Tracker.

NodeONE recently announced the EOS Vote Tracker, a tool in which the EOS community can easily view and track changing voting trend in EOS mainnet. Users can use the EOS Vote Tracker to gain a perspective of voting trends for producers, proxies, and individual voters.

The tool was originally developed by EOS Mediterranean, but due to the bear market, they couldn't maintain it and was taken down. Fortunately, the two teams met in person and decided to bring it back to the community thanks to NodeONE support.

Why REMChain is moving to EOSIO platform.

REMChain recently announced that they will develop the Remme ecosystem on the EOSIO blockchain. Remme Protocol is an open source protocol that replaces conventional Public Key Infrastructure solutions with a distributed Network of Trust. Their solution allows for securely accessing a website without passwords.

Reasons why they chose EOSIO:
- Already tested at a very high level
- Works on a global scale, supporting hundreds of commercial-scale dApps
- Designed to scale
- Offers various tools like block explorers, client libraries, mobile frameworks for developers, etc
- Tremendous developer community

"We believe that the advantages of moving to a faster and more scalable EOSIO codebase significantly outweigh the short-term time losses that this trade-off entails."

EOS NY response to AnChain.ai's report: You Cannot Fake EOS Transactions & EOS Doesn’t Care About Their Intent, Origin, or Destination.

EOS New York recently published a response to AnChain.ai’s report and the subsequent media coverage regarding the evaluation of the transaction activity of the top 10 gambling dApps on EOS.

"If EOS were unable to support these transaction activity levels under normal circumstances, then we would have an issue. But these transactions aren’t “fake”, one cannot “fake” a blockchain transaction. [...] These transactions have upfront capital costs. EOS does not award resource discounts for bot-driven traffic, nor does it prioritize organic traffic. EOS doesn’t care about intent, applications do."

‘Monopoly’-Style Blockchain Property Trading Game Raises $2 Million.

FinLab EOS VC Fund and several angel investors have invested a combined $2 million in Uplandme, maker of a digital property-trading game running on top of the EOS blockchain. The funds will be used to support the development and launch of Upland, which is currently available in beta, and will become widely available later this year.

The game enables players to buy, sell, and trade NFTs similar to CryptoKitties, to confer ownership of an asset.

“We expect that the game momentum will be driven by the simple fact that there is a natural scarcity of available properties because they are based on real-world addresses”
