Syria: Israel attacks Hezbollah targets, military airports in Syria, in the third attack in a week

According to unofficial Syrian sources, the attack targeted ammunition depots in the al-Dabaa Airport of Homs and another location in Khirbet Al-Hammam.

These same sources also claim that Israel targeted several airports, including T4 (the Tiyas Military Airbase), Shayrat Military Airbase, and a military base near al-Qusayr, a Hezbollah stronghold on the Syria-Lebanon border.

IRGC-affiliated sources state that at least four Syrian soldiers were wounded in the attack. Others confirm that Hezbollah targets in the al-Dabaa area were also hit.

The official Syrian News Agency reported that the Israeli enemy carried out an airstrike at around 00:35 (Damascus time) from the northeast of Beirut against several targets in Homs. Syrian air defense systems intercepted some of the Israeli missiles, but five Syrian soldiers were injured, and property was damaged as a result of the attack.

OPEC+ countries announce today the reducing oil production by approximately 1.5 million barrels per day, starting next month until the end of 2023

This reason, according to the organization, was to stabilize the global oil market. The reduction in yields will be as follows:

Saudi Arabia will decrease by 500 thousand barrels per day
Russia by 500 thousand barrels per day
The UAE by 144 thousand barrels per day
Kuwait by 128 thousand barrels per day
Iraq by 211 thousand barrels per day
Algeria by 48 thousand barrels per day
and Oman by 40 thousand barrels per day

It's important to note that this reduction in output comes in addition to the reduction announced last November and will likely lead to an increase in oil prices worldwide. This decision by OPEC+ goes against previous requests made by the United States to increase production in hopes of lowering global oil prices.
