Wall length (L) = 10 meters
Wall height (H) = 5 meters
Wall thickness (T) = 0.2 meters
Volume of wall = L * H * T
= 10 x 5 x 0.2
= 10 m³

✍︎︎ Let’s say mortar thickness 10 mm which is 0.1 m

➪ As you can see in this picture the dimension of single brick is 90 mm x 190 mm x 90mm

➪ volume of brick = 90 mm x 190 mm x 90 mm
( without mortar)
➪ volume of brick without mortal
= 0.09 x 0.09 x 0.19 = 0.001539 m³
➪ Volume of brick with brick [ +10mm each sides]
= 0.20 x 0.1 x 0.1 ( with mortar )

= 0.002m³

# of brick 🧱 in the wall = 10 / 0.002 = 5000 bricks

✈︎ Let’s add 5% of wastage of bricks
☞︎ 5000 x 5/100 = 250 bricks 🧱

Total number of bricks including wastage

= 5000 + 250 = 5250 bricks 🧱
