Statement issued by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“When the Hour of Judgment comes suddenly, they will cry: Alas for us, that we neglected it!”

The opportunity presented today by the Islamic Resistance for the occupation forces to withdraw from the land of the holy sites as a lifeline was not obtained yesterday, despite their intermediaries and pleas before their defeat by our people in 2011. At that time, the fighters of the resistance were driving the occupiers to the fire of hell, turning their bases into ruins and rubble.

The recent opportunity has confirmed to the Iraqi people, friends, and responsible parties that the occupying enemy does not leave behind its exhaustion and treachery, nor does it understand any language except that of arms. This was clearly evident in its recent targeting of the Mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Al-Qaim, Akashat, and other locations. Its crimes were further exacerbated by the assassination of the great leader Abu Baqar al Saadi (r) in Baghdad, violating all rules of engagement. This only strengthens the resolve of the Islamic Resistance and its declared factions to uphold their responsibilities towards their people, country, and nation under any circumstances.

While we hope that those we trust will seek our forgiveness, acknowledging our superior knowledge of our enemy’s cunning, battlefields, and methods of defeating it through painful strikes and wide-ranging attacks, compelling it to surrender and be defeated in service to the interests of our people and the causes of our nation, we call upon our brethren in Jihad to join the ranks of the resistance. They should prepare themselves to actively participate in expelling the occupation in this historic stage for Iraq and the region.

• Syrian AD succeeded in intercepting most of the missiles.

•The aggression targeted a residential villa in the Al-Assad area, which is organizationally located within Al-Dimas, west of Damascus.

• ​​Mashrou’ Dummar area was not attacked, but rather a small fire occurred in solar panels resulting from fragments of a israeli missile that was intercepted in the air, and there was no other damage there.
