🚨 Statement by Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, on day 83 of the brutal "israeli" aggression on the Gaza Strip:

- The "israeli" occupation forces committed 20 massacres against entire families, resulting in 210 martyrs and 360 injuries in the past 24 hours.

- The toll of the "israeli" aggression has risen to 21,320 martyrs and 55,603 injuries since October 7th.

- "Israeli" violations against the health system led to the martyrdom of 312 health personnel, including some with rare specializations.

- The "israeli" occupation deliberately destroyed 104 ambulances, taking them out of service.

- The "israeli" occupation deliberately targeted 142 health institutions, resulting in 23 hospitals and 53 health centers going out of service and ending health [personnel] presence in northern Gaza.

- The occupation still detains 99 health personnel, including hospital directors in northern Gaza, under harsh conditions of torture, starvation, and exposure to severe cold. We demand that international organizations, led by the International Committee of the Red Cross, visit them to check on their conditions and mobilize international efforts for their release.

- The "israeli" occupation targets the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Amal Hospital of the Red Crescent Society in Khan Younis several times, and we fear a repeat of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex scenario.

- We demand international organizations take effective and urgent steps to ensure the protection of the Nasser Medical Complex and hospitals in southern Gaza, safeguarding medical crews, the wounded, the sick, and the thousands of displaced.

- We demand international institutions urgently intervene to restart the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and other hospitals in northern Gaza to meet the needs of 800,000 residents.

- The Ministry of Health has welcomed several specialized medical teams in cooperation with international institutions to support medical staff in hospitals, and we request more specialized teams from all over the world to save the lives of the wounded.

- The Ministry of Health appreciates the role of field hospitals in easing the burden on hospitals and urges international organizations and countries to provide a number of field hospitals capable of responding to the large number of injuries and reaching all areas of the Gaza Strip.

- The humanitarian and health conditions of the displaced have reached catastrophic levels beyond description, with more than 1.9 million displaced lacking water, food, and medicine.

- 50,000 pregnant women suffer from thirst, malnutrition, and lack of healthcare in shelters.

- 50% of the displaced are children, suffering from dehydration, malnutrition, respiratory and skin diseases, severe cold, and lack of vaccinations for newborns.

- We demand international organizations urgently intervene to prevent a health and humanitarian disaster in all shelters and provide water, food, and healthcare, especially for vulnerable groups.

- Medical aid remains limited and not in line with the needs of hospitals, and we call on all parties to provide new mechanisms to ensure the flow of aid according to our medical priorities to save thousands of wounded and sick.

- The current mechanism for evacuating the wounded is ineffective and does not respond to the large number of injuries. We need a new mechanism that allows hundreds of wounded to leave daily.

- Our urgent priority is the evacuation of 5,000 severely injured and complicated cases for treatment abroad to save their lives.

After the Islamic Resistance operations that targeted most of the cameras and equipment of the Israeli enemy’s military forces at the front edge on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, the enemy lost much of the ability to see and eavesdrop to target the resistance and monitor their movements.

To compensate for this loss, the enemy recently hacked civilian cameras installed in front of homes, shops, and institutions in the front villages, connected to the Internet, to take advantage of the visual material they provide in collecting information related to the resistance and the movement of the Mujahideen brothers in order to target them.

We call on our dear people, especially in the front villages in the vicinity of which resistance activities are taking place, to disconnect the private cameras in front of their homes, shops and institutions from the Internet, and to contribute to further blinding the enemy to some of the activities or movements carried out by the resistance and its mujahideen in the region.
