Failing to protect its military positions and suffering repeated defeats on the battlefield, Saudi Arabia has targeted civilian sites in Yemen, including a prison and a school.

Saudi warplanes struck the Central Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf Governorate, with initial reports indicating casualties among prisoners inside the detention center.

In a separate attack, Saudi aircraft bombed a residential area in Taiz Governorate, targeting the grounds of Othman School in the Al-Rawd Al-Rabee’i area of Al-Ta’ziyah District, adding to the growing toll of attacks on civilian infrastructure in Yemen.
