Any material published outside this framework lacks authenticity and credibility.

Text of the Statement

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

While commemorating Arbaeen of Imam Husayn and paying tribute to the noble soul of the martyred Leader of the Revolution, the Office informs the honorable and devoted people of Iran that, in recent days, a number of quotations attributed to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution have been circulated on social media. Unfortunately, these have caused public confusion and have contributed to division and discord within society.

Accordingly, the Office wishes to clarify the following regarding news and statements attributed to the Leader:

1. The only official sources for publishing messages, news, and materials related to Ayatollah Sayyid Mujtaba Husayni Khamenei are the official website of the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. Any material published outside these official channels is not authentic or reliable.

2. In his messages, including his most recent one, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has emphasized preserving national unity and respecting sincere officials and servants of the Islamic system, especially the government. Any content that contradicts these repeated recommendations by promoting division, discord, or making unfounded allegations against officials serves the objectives of those hostile to the Iranian nation. Therefore, a claim recently circulated on social media alleging the Leader’s reaction to a letter from the President is entirely false and without basis.

🇮🇶 | According to the announced figures, 19,999,870 mourners gathered at the holy shrines of Karbala to commemorate Arbaeen this year. The total attendance was slightly lower than in previous years, largely due to a combination of factors, including the regional war situation, travel restrictions, flight disruptions, security concerns, travel advisories, and the rejection of many travel requests.

It should also be noted that around 2.8 million Iranian pilgrims had already returned from Iraq before the final stages of the pilgrimage, while millions of others remained in Karbala and along the pilgrimage routes during the commemorations.

Special appreciation is due to the administrations of the holy shrines, the local authorities of Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimayn, Samarra, and Baghdad, whose extensive planning and coordination helped accommodate such a vast number of pilgrims. Gratitude is also extended to the resistance leaders, the noble Maraji’, the IRGC, the Basij, and the volunteers of the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), as well as the countless Iraqi & international volunteers, mawkib organisers, clerics and media men whose tireless efforts ensured the safety, hospitality, and smooth conduct of one of the world’s largest annual religious gatherings.

- Reports of an explosion were circulated from Erbil, Iraq. No official confirmation has been issued regarding the cause or location.

- In the UAE, smoke was seen rising from the Jebel Ali Industrial Area in southern Dubai following what was described as an industrial accident. Reports also claimed that seven explosions were heard over a period of approximately 20 minutes and that extensive damage occurred within the industrial area. Additional reports mentioned renewed explosions near the Dubai coastline. These reports remain unconfirmed, and the exact cause of the incident has not been officially established.

Allah the Almighty said:

“And whoever defends himself after having been wronged, there is no blame upon them.” (Qur’an 42:41)

As part of implementing the Yemeni Armed Forces’ decision to impose a maritime navigation ban on the Saudi enemy, and to reinforce the principle of “blockade in return for blockade,” the Yemeni Armed Forces, by the grace of Allah, successfully targeted the Saudi oil tanker “Wafaa” north of the Red Sea off the Yanbu region with a number of ballistic missiles. The strike hit its target accurately, by the grace of Allah.

With this operation, the total number of Saudi oil tankers targeted by our forces has reached eight since the maritime blockade began on 22 July.

Meanwhile, the total number of Saudi oil tankers prevented from continuing their voyages and forced to turn back in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea has reached 29.

Following the Yemeni Armed Forces’ success, by the grace of Allah, in tightening the naval blockade against the Saudi enemy from the Bab al-Mandab Strait in the southern Red Sea, the Saudi side redirected its oil tankers toward the northern Red Sea.

Accordingly, the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that their operations will continue and escalate in targeting Saudi oil tankers in the northern Red Sea in order to close all maritime routes to the Saudi side and prevent its passage, thereby reinforcing the principle of “blockade in return for blockade,” regardless of the consequences and repercussions, placing their trust in Allah and relying upon Him.
