At dawn today, the hands of treachery and criminality struck deep inside Iraq’s peaceful cities with aircraft and missiles, in a blatant act of aggression that leaves no doubt that this suspicious alliance recognizes neither sovereignty nor agreements, but is desperately attempting to subjugate a proud people who have humbled the tyrants of the earth.

The Islamic Resistance Movement al-Nujaba condemns and denounces this criminal American-Saudi aggression and affirms that the blood of our righteous martyrs will not be shed in vain. The masks have fallen forever under the weight of iron and fire.

At this dangerous historical turning point, we present the following firm and non-negotiable demands to the Iraqi government and the relevant official authorities:

First: Expel the occupier and eradicate all forms of collaboration. The continued presence of American occupation bases and facilities on Iraqi soil has become a grave threat to the country’s security and stability.

Second: Terminate all forms of cooperation with the criminal Saudi regime, which has proven itself to be the head of the serpent and a financier of terrorism against Iraq and its people.

Third: We call on the Iraqi government to immediately end its silence and not limit itself to statements of condemnation and denunciation, which only encourage the aggressor to escalate further.

Fourth: We demand the immediate acquisition of advanced air defense systems to protect the country’s sovereignty and airspace, and the accountability of all those responsible for leaving Iraq’s skies exposed to the ambitions of these killers.

Fifth: We in al-Nujaba Movement will not allow the tyrants of Washington and the Arabs of Saudi Arabia to violate Iraqi soil without paying a heavy price from their interests and their security.

2 - We call on the Iraqi government to review all agreements and contracts recently signed with the United States of America, and to cancel the planned visit to the Hijaz.

3 - We in the Islamic Resistance - Saraya Awliya al-Dam are still waiting for an official stance from the Iraqi government that rises to the magnitude of the event and reflects loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

4 - The Saudi ambassador must be expelled from Iraq immediately, and diplomatic and economic relations with Saudi Arabia must be severed.

5 - If the government fails to perform its duty, the zealous Iraqi people must demand that the government's weapons be restricted to the hands of the Resistance.

— Those with a slow-witted and obtuse understanding in the Muslim world were praising Saudi Arabia’s so-called neutrality during the Gaza genocide. Some even went as far as claiming that Saudi Arabia had distanced itself from the enemy and would not become part of any hostile actions. But the developments that followed revealed a different picture. After years of wars, interventions, and destruction, there are very few people left who do not know what America and its allies have done across the region and what consequences have followed.

Now, Saudi Arabia has come out alongside America, taking an active role in military aggression against Yemen. Its involvement alongside America in massacre against Iraq and the targeting of the symbols of Shia Islam reveal the true nature of Saudi Arabia. These developments have exposed the reality behind the claims of neutrality and shown that actions speak louder than statements. Can the bloodstains of Yemen ever be removed, where they killed a population three times larger than Gaza? The suffering of Yemen remains a reminder of the consequences of these policies and alliances. Consider an enemy an enemy.

After the Islamic Resistance categorically denied any involvement in targeting Saudi Arabia or its facilities, the american enemy committed a new crime by targeting members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and a service convoy assisting visitors of Imam Husayn (a) in Holy Karbala, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

We affirm without doubt that the Saudi regime has never been and will never be anything but a treacherous dagger or a dirty tool controlled by the White House and its suspicious intelligence agencies. Just as it previously used its capabilities to facilitate the movement of suicide attackers to spill the blood of Iraqis, today it is once again compelled to renew its role of servitude by carrying out the criminal orders and demands of its masters in an attempt to undermine the will of our proud people.

Even if we were to accept, for the sake of argument, their claim that the source of the attack on their oil facilities came from Iraq, is it reasonable to respond to an alleged unsuccessful attempt to target an oil field by killing and injuring dozens of innocent people?

And if, at this critical stage, we were to hand over our weapons and missiles to the government authorities so that they could assume responsibility for defending Iraq’s sovereignty, territory, and people, what decisive measures would they take in the face of this real battlefield test to prove their ability to deter aggressors and hold accountable those who shed the pure blood of the martyrs, instead of relying on the resistance fighters, as the Mujahideen have done repeatedly in Iraq?

Accordingly, we announce the following:

First: We grant the government authorities who called on the resistance to disarm a deadline until the 23rd of Safar to see what actions they will take.

Second: Out of concern for the security of the visitors of Imam Husayn (A) and the honorable service providers of the mourning processions, and to prevent any disruption to the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage before its ceremonies are completed, we affirm that our response to the american enemy is inevitable, and may target its tools in Saudi Arabia whenever circumstances require.

Mercy and divine satisfaction upon our righteous martyrs, and an immediate recovery for the wounded.

🚨 | Behind the rants, statements, talks, and visits, there is a huge planning process ongoing on the enemy side for a massive assault, and this clearly indicates the scenario being prepared. Premeditated attacks by the resistance on the Kurdish side, American bases, and the opening of the Yemen front are all part of this effort to repel the threat and reduce its pace. However, these measures alone are not enough to control the upcoming waves. Iran is preparing, gathering, and coordinating with its allies at the highest level during these nights.

This could drag Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, and even Syria into the coming war. One must remain aware of these scenarios rather than being influenced by daily changing thoughts and narratives, especially those coming from unknown former army officials who cannot even pronounce “Khamenei” correctly until now. Alertness is essential. Emotional bragging only ends in a waste of time and becomes an insult to those who are fighting and sacrificing.

The role of Tom Barrack during the tenure of Shia al-Sudani must be carefully examined. His involvement focused on pressuring, limiting, and attempting to control the weapons of resistance factions, particularly those connected to the broader resistance structure. Some factions influenced by the Sistani school accepted or considered such approaches, while the Wilayah-based factions actively rejected these measures. They refused to surrender their position because they believed they understood the upcoming scenarios and threats that others failed to recognize.

One should neither exaggerate the methods of these groups nor dismiss their actions completely. The issue is not merely about one specific school of thought or a group of followers associated with political quietism or any other label. It is about a broader political approach that has often been used as a tool of propaganda, image management, and justification for inaction. Iraqi politics remains deeply challenged, and the lack of major structural changes cannot be ignored. The credit for preserving certain balances and preventing further instability, according to this view, belongs to those forces that actively resisted external pressure rather than those who believed silence and political neutrality alone would solve the problems.

Iraq continues to suffer, and the threats facing the country are real. Remaining silent in the name of so-called political quietism, protecting public images, promoting stories of indirect support, or claiming hidden involvement while avoiding direct responsibility cannot address these challenges. Political quietism, in this context, is viewed as an ineffective approach that fails to provide answers to the realities on the ground.

Political quietism is often compared to other forms of religious and political withdrawal that operate under ruling powers. Such approaches do not bring dignity or independence but instead create a situation where a nation becomes suppressed and dependent. If a country is occupied or heavily influenced by america, true freedom cannot exist while political decisions and public thinking remain restricted.

The younger generation is different. They seek answers to difficult questions and cannot be ignored in the name of unity, stability, or avoiding controversy. The new generation has the right to question past decisions and ask where certain political approaches are leading them.

The funeral of Imam Khamenei demonstrated, a significant expression of the Iraqi people’s sentiments and political identity. The active and influential sections of society participated, and this reality cannot simply be ignored or erased.

The agenda of “countering Iranian influence in Iraq” involved major foreign-backed efforts, including millions of dollars of investment and the involvement, supportnl of certain religious and social figures who provided indirect support or acceptance. The questions remain: What was the role of these actors in the confiscation of weapons, the weakening of resistance factions by state institutions, and the broader political restructuring of Iraq? These questions continue to demand serious discussion rather than silence.
