— Last night, Abbas Araghchi confirmed that he received a phone call from the Ukrainian regime’s foreign minister after the former foreign minister of the Ukrainian regime confirmed it on his official handle. Both sides reportedly agreed not to escalate, despite Iran having been attacked in the Caspian Sea and one Iranian commercial sailor attaining martyrdom.

Although not directly connected, it is still related to the broader situation. Iraqi officials have reportedly stated that Ukrainian-linked cells carried out drone attacks against Saudi Arabia in an attempt to drag the war into Iraq. This now requires retaliation against Ukraine rather than what is being presented as “friendly” talks.

Anyways, we wish the Yemeni Armed Forces strength in responding to these attacks by targeting Saudi military and energy assets.

🇮🇷 🔻| In the past hour, Iran has launched several attacks across the region. A barrage of missiles was reportedly launched from Khomein, Iran, targeting Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Meanwhile, a drone strike targeted the headquarters of a Kurdish opposition group, which Iran designates as a terrorist organization, in Erbil, northern Iraq. The Patriot air defense system was also activated over the skies of Erbil in response to the aerial activity.

🇮🇶 | Iraqi parliament members have begun attacking the silence of the Iraqi state regarding the reported joint Saudi-American aggression, demanding an official response and accountability from the government. Iraqi MP Alaa Al-Haidari condemned the action, addressing Saudi Arabia and stating: “Al Saud, you will not, and never will, pass by unnoticed, and you know very well who the Karbalai Husseinis are… those who made your creation, Al-Qaeda and ISIS, taste humiliation and disgrace.” He further called on the Iraqi government to fulfill its national and moral duties, saying: “The Iraqi government must bear its national and moral responsibilities regarding what happened and respond to the aggression and officially adopt it, just as they officially adopted it, within the policy of deterrence and reciprocity… and stop any security and economic coordination with the parties involved in the treacherous aggression.” Iraqi Huqooq Movement MP Miqdad Al-Khafaji also condemned the incident, stating: “What the Saudi regime did a short while ago is a blatant assault on Iraq’s sovereignty and a clear violation of the right of neighborliness. It reaffirms that the United States is not a true partner of Iraq; rather, it directly or indirectly supports what threatens Iraq’s security and stability.” He added: “It would have been more appropriate to use detection and air defense systems, as was done when American interests were targeted, instead of allowing the violation of Iraqi airspace and harming the country’s sovereignty.” Iraqi MP Hussein Al-Darraji questioned the position of Iraq’s political leadership, saying: “If you were not among the men of politics then, when the leaders of victory were martyred, you are now at the head of power. So what is your stance before God, the people, the homeland, and the martyrs?!!”

🇮🇶 🏴 | The Popular Mobilization Authority announced that at least 20 mujahideen were martyred and 32 others were injured in what it described as a non-final toll following attacks attributed to the joint American-Saudi aggression, which targeted a number of official Popular Mobilization Authority headquarters across Iraq. According to the Authority, the strikes hit its facilities in the governorates of Baghdad, Wasit, Nineveh, Basra, Kirkuk, Karbala, and Diyala, causing extensive material damage to headquarters, military vehicles, and equipment.

The death toll later rose to 20 martyrs, according to Iranian state media. Iraqi MP Zuhair Shahid Al-Fatlawi condemned the attacks, stating: “A treacherous aggression and a blatant assault by people whose nature is treachery, with complete governmental silence, has affected Iraqi territories and the official headquarters…” Meanwhile, Iraqi Huquq Movement MP Saud Al-Saadi called for immediate retaliation, saying: “We call on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to assume his responsibilities and order a military response to the brutal Saudi-American aggression and to show Bin Salman and those behind this attack that Iraq’s sovereignty cannot be violated without consequences.”

The forces of global arrogance and subservience, represented by the brutal American occupation and the mercenary Saudi coalition, once again reveal their ugly face and blood-soaked doctrine built upon treachery, violating every principle of sovereignty and the dignity of nations.

At dawn today, the hands of treachery and criminality struck deep inside Iraq’s peaceful cities with aircraft and missiles, in a blatant act of aggression that leaves no doubt that this suspicious alliance recognizes neither sovereignty nor agreements, but is desperately attempting to subjugate a proud people who have humbled the tyrants of the earth.

The Islamic Resistance Movement al-Nujaba condemns and denounces this criminal American-Saudi aggression and affirms that the blood of our righteous martyrs will not be shed in vain. The masks have fallen forever under the weight of iron and fire.

At this dangerous historical turning point, we present the following firm and non-negotiable demands to the Iraqi government and the relevant official authorities:

First: Expel the occupier and eradicate all forms of collaboration. The continued presence of American occupation bases and facilities on Iraqi soil has become a grave threat to the country’s security and stability.

Second: Terminate all forms of cooperation with the criminal Saudi regime, which has proven itself to be the head of the serpent and a financier of terrorism against Iraq and its people.

Third: We call on the Iraqi government to immediately end its silence and not limit itself to statements of condemnation and denunciation, which only encourage the aggressor to escalate further.

Fourth: We demand the immediate acquisition of advanced air defense systems to protect the country’s sovereignty and airspace, and the accountability of all those responsible for leaving Iraq’s skies exposed to the ambitions of these killers.

Fifth: We in al-Nujaba Movement will not allow the tyrants of Washington and the Arabs of Saudi Arabia to violate Iraqi soil without paying a heavy price from their interests and their security.

Glory to the righteous martyrs, and a swift recovery to the wounded.

1 - The Iraqi state is not run by the logic of commercial deals or economic interests when it comes to the sovereignty of the nation and the dignity of its people; the sovereignty of Iraq and the blood of its sons are not subject to negotiation or compromise, and they rise above all other considerations.

2 - We call on the Iraqi government to review all agreements and contracts recently signed with the United States of America, and to cancel the planned visit to the Hijaz.

3 - We in the Islamic Resistance - Saraya Awliya al-Dam are still waiting for an official stance from the Iraqi government that rises to the magnitude of the event and reflects loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

4 - The Saudi ambassador must be expelled from Iraq immediately, and diplomatic and economic relations with Saudi Arabia must be severed.

5 - If the government fails to perform its duty, the zealous Iraqi people must demand that the government's weapons be restricted to the hands of the Resistance.
