🏴‍☠️ | [Now Confirmed] | Commander of U.S. Navy Helicopter Squadron killed in Arabian Sea:

Gabriel Edwards, commander of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5, known as the “Nightdippers,” died following an accident involving an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter in the Arabian Sea. The helicopter crashed on July 1 during a mission and was forced to make an emergency landing on the water. Three crew members were immediately rescued, but Edwards went missing. Search operations involving several ships, aircraft, and helicopters continued for more than 102 hours across an area of approximately 14,000 square miles before ending on July 5 without locating him.

He might have been involved in commanding the Minab attack, the attack on Imam Khamenei’s residence, and later attacks on Jask.
