▪️ | People might not grasp the weight and seriousness of this movement because of the regular repetition of events and the ongoing situation surrounding the funeral, along with the fear of an outbreak of war. Imam Mujtaba Khamenei was essentially waiting for the burial of his father, and today he has started his full phase as the new leader with a new website portal and a statement that contains some of the most serious lines so far. This was already evident in his very first statement after the leadership announcement, but this latest statement contains even more significant lines.

He stated:

“We pledge to avenge your pure blood and the blood of all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal and disgraced murderers. This vengeance is the demand of our nation, and it will most certainly be carried out.

These criminals, whose names are recorded from the first to the last, will carry with them to their graves the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds. They must know that this matter does not depend on my presence or on the presence of any other officials.

Whether we are here or not, this promise will be fulfilled, and soon free people throughout the world will each carry out a part of this divine mission.”

This very serious part of the statement was released after yesterday’s two revolutionary occurrences, where Dr. Saeed Jalili and Ayatollah Ali Khomeini delivered two specific speeches, as they were chosen by Imam Mujtaba Khamenei to address the Martyred Leader’s mourning assembly. It confirms that the time has now come for the leadership to take more direct responsibility in performing its duties, and that is all due to the millions of effort of the martyred Imam.

Today, Imam Mujtaba Khamenei has clearly acted. He asked his companions to speak from the pulpit, and they announced the Leader’s stance that trusting the enemy and negotiating with them was likened to negotiating with Yazid, and that anyone involved in such negotiations would be considered disgraced.

This is certainly a historic moment. What brought it to this point was the million man demand during the funeral epic and the four months of continuous street mobilization, which has been extraordinarily significant.

Not only this, Ayatollah Ali Khomeini also mentioned that the people in the streets must stay until or unless the the Leader ask them to return. This contradicted and defeated Pezeshkian’s attempt to reduce the public gatherings after the burial, or during the burial itself, in which he failed.

Now Imam Mujtaba Khamenei has taken the biggest step, and that is fully in accordance with the demands expressed during the funeral. In Iran, this is not merely a non religious political stance. It is a religious position, and that religious position now officially requires revenge. It is now fully official that the shift is moving toward the officials responsible.

Imam Mujtaba Khamenei also stated that whether he is present or not, the zealous will perform their duties. After this, there is a high possibility that the names on that list will become the targets. What matters is revenge.

Currently, the second night of the burial mourning assembly is ongoing and is being addressed by the speakers. Aqa Panahian is now repeating the same message, namely the call for revenge, while cursing those who try to stop it. That is why it is clear that everyone is now moving toward revenge, and those who seek to hinder it are being directly condemned.

Reports also said that Iran launched retaliatory attacks against US-linked military positions in the Persian Gulf region, while the US military alleged that the IRGC attacked a Cyprus-flagged container ship in the Strait of Hormuz, leaving one crew member reportedly missing.

🇮🇷 | IRGC Navy Statement:

In a previous announcement, we stated that foreign interference and the illegal designation of a shipping lane in the Strait of Hormuz near Oman would elicit a firm response from us and would prevent any increase in traffic through the strait.

Hours ago, these warnings were once again ignored. Instigated by foreign powers, several vessels attempted to deviate from the Iranian-designated route, disregarding our repeated warnings and alerts to correct their course and remain within the approved route.

Consequently, one of these vessels, which had switched off its transponders, thereby endangering maritime security, was fired upon and stopped by the IRGC Navy.

Following this incident, firstly, due to this security breach resulting from illegal foreign interference, the Strait of Hormuz will be temporarily closed until further notice and until the U.S. ceases its interference in this region. No vessel will be permitted to pass through.

Secondly, should the aggressor, exploiting this incident (which it itself caused), commit any further transgressions, we shall respond forcefully, and additional enemy bases in the region will be targeted.

The consequences of such intervention will fall upon the American-Zionist enemy and the countries that have placed their territories at the disposal of enemy bases for these threats.
