🇮🇷 | Initial reports indicate that an armed attacker opened fire on IRGC and Basij personnel in the Sarfarazan area of Mashhad:

The attacker was reportedly carrying a Kalashnikov rifle. Preliminary reports indicate that at least two people were martyred. The incident took place on the southern outskirts of Mashhad and is reported to be unrelated to the funeral ceremonies, which were held elsewhere in the city.

Forgive the departed, have mercy upon them, illuminate their grave, expand their resting place, ease their loneliness and isolation, grant them security from the questioning of the grave, and make their abode a garden from the gardens of Paradise. Admit them into the company of Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam), Amir al Mu’minin Ali (Alayhis Salam), Sayyidah Fatimah al Zahra (Alayhas Salam), and the Pure Imams (Alayhimus Salam). Accept their faith and deeds through Your infinite mercy, and grant patience and abundant reward to their family and loved ones. Indeed, You are the Most Merciful of the merciful. Amin.
