Once the burial is fully concluded, the committee overseeing the burial ceremonies will officially announce its completion. Only after that announcement should Salat Laylat al Dafn (the Prayer of the First Night in the Grave) be offered for the martyrs.

When reciting the prayer, in place of “Fulān ibn Fulān” (“so-and-so, son of so-and-so”), mention the name of each martyr together with the name of their father:

—Reports indicate that strikes have occurred in several locations across southern Iran, although IRIB has denied these reports. Local sources have claimed that incidents did occur. 🇮🇷 | Initial reports indicate that an armed attacker opened fire on IRGC and Basij personnel in the Sarfarazan area of Mashhad:

The attacker was reportedly carrying a Kalashnikov rifle. Preliminary reports indicate that at least two people were martyred. The incident took place on the southern outskirts of Mashhad and is reported to be unrelated to the funeral ceremonies, which were held elsewhere in the city.
