The second possibility is that, if the school of Ayatullah Sistani deems it appropriate, Ayatullah Sistani may personally appear to offer the funeral prayers. This would present the greatest opportunity for the School of Najaf to demonstrate its unity, strength, and coordination before the entire world. Otherwise, it would be seen by many as another missed opportunity and a continuation of weakness after weakness.

🇮🇷 | Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has called on the Iranian people to participate in the historic farewell and funeral ceremony for the martyred Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

To the noble, proud, and grief-stricken nation of Iran:

The martyrdom of the Leader of the Nation, the Imam of the Ummah, the mujahid, and the revered Commander of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him), that great man of patience and resistance, at the hands of the vindictive enemies, criminal America, and the usurping Zionist regime, has brought immense sorrow to the hearts of the Iranian nation, Muslims around the world, and all free people.

The sworn enemies of the Iranian nation believed that, through this crime, they could break the will of the Iranian people and sever the spirit of resistance from this land. However, not only did they fail to achieve their sinister objectives, but they were met with a nation more united and determined than ever before.

The martyred Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces presented, throughout his blessed life, a complete model of courage, insight, and steadfastness in confronting global arrogance, inspiring all free people across the world.

Until the final moments of his life, that great mujahid courageously defended the path of resistance and never retreated from the truth in the face of threats or pressure. He leaves behind a priceless legacy of steadfastness and resistance, a legacy for all free nations that will never be forgotten.

It is now our responsibility to renew our covenant with his path and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution through a magnificent, united, and conscious presence at his farewell and funeral ceremony.

Such a presence will send a clear message to the enemies and remind the forces of global arrogance that the path of the martyred Leader and Commander will continue through the unwavering determination of the Iranian nation and under the wise leadership of his worthy successor, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.

On behalf of all my comrades in the proud and powerful Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I invite all noble people, the respected families of the martyrs, veterans, and all followers of the school of resistance to participate in this historic and epic farewell for the martyred Leader and his martyred companions. Let us once again demonstrate to the world that the Iranian nation will never surrender to its enemies and will stand firm until the very end.

🇮🇶: 🇮🇷 | Iraqi tribes call for mass participation in the funeral of the Martyred Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (r):

Tribal leaders and prominent figures from across Iraq have issued a series of statements calling on their members to participate in the funeral ceremonies of Martyred Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (r) in Najaf and Karbala.

Among those issuing invitations are Sheikh Munim Jabbar Al Sandouh, chief of the Al-A’ajib tribe in Samawah, who called upon his tribe and the wider Bani Hujaym confederation to attend the funeral, describing it as a demonstration of the loyalty and noble traditions of Iraq’s tribes.

The Arab Bani Lam tribe, the Al Omar tribe, and the Al-Sawa’id tribe have also released statements urging broad participation. In its appeal, the Al-Sawa’id tribe invited its members to gather in Najaf and Karbala, describing attendance as an expression of religious devotion and fidelity to the legacy of the Martyred Imam.

Sheikh Nazim al-Saeedi, head of the Executive Council of the Harakat al-Nujaba, stated that the large public turnout at the funeral would serve as “a resounding slap in the face” to those seeking to undermine or diminish the legacy of the Martyred Imam.

“If we are supposed to implement whatever the Supreme Leader says without question, then there would be no need for any other institution to exist; Parliament and the Supreme Council would become meaningless. The Supreme Leader gives his opinion, and that opinion is reviewed and analyzed by experts; then it comes back, and they either accept it or they do not.”

This is one of the biggest insults ever made by a government official and represents a reduction of the doctrine of Wilayat al-Faqih. The Wali is not there merely to give an opinion. The government is not parallel to the authority of the Wilayah. Rather, the Wali is the supreme authority over everyone and possesses the constitutional authority to dismiss the entire government, including Qalibaf, Araghchi, Pezeshkian, Baqaei, and their mouthpiece Marandi.

The attempt by President Pezeshkian’s Executive Deputy to diminish the status of the Wilayat al-Faqih by equating it with a merely advisory and ceremonial position stems from their resentment and animosity toward the Leadership.

The level of loyalty to the Wilayat demonstrated by the Government of National Unity is so low that it can only be compared to the cabinets of Mehdi Bazargan and Abolhassan Banisadr.
