According to emerging reports, the Supreme Leader emphasized that the burial site of the martyred Leader should be chosen in a way that does not disrupt the pilgrimage of visitors to the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali al Ridha (A). For this reason, his blessed body is not expected to be buried near the sacred zarih. It is reported that the martyred Leader may instead be laid to rest in Riwaq Dar al Marhamah or another portico within the Holy Shrine of Imam al Ridha (A).

• The President of Iraq and the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament will participate in the farewell and funeral ceremonies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran.

• Public memorial ceremonies will also be held in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala.

• According to the Funeral Committee, 14,000 journalists, photographers, media professionals, and documentary filmmakers have registered to cover the funeral, with accreditation cards currently being issued.

• More than 900 foreign media representatives are expected to attend, including:

- 300 journalists from international media outlets.

- 350 journalists from foreign media organizations based in Iran.

- Around 300 foreign media activists and bloggers.

• Officials state that the participation of 14,000 media personnel is the largest and most unprecedented media presence for a single event in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

• The Guardian Council has issued a statement inviting the Iranian nation to participate in the funeral of the martyred Leader, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (r). The statement describes public participation as a manifestation of the Iranian nation's faith, loyalty, and commitment to the path of honor and resistance under his leadership. It further states that the funeral of the martyred Leader of the Ummah will symbolize Iran's strength in the face of the front of arrogance.

• Iran's security chief, Sardaf Zolqadr, declared that those responsible for the assassination of the martyred Leader and the other martyrs will soon face justice. He stated that the clenched fist of the martyred Leader at the moment of his ascension has become an enduring symbol of Iran's national security doctrine. Zolqadr further said that the case of avenging the blood of Imam Khamenei (r) and the other martyrs remains open, and that those who planned and carried out the assassinations will, in due course, face punishment at the hands of the "righteous elements."

Astan Quds Razavi hereby calls upon all shrine servants, volunteer custodians, pilgrims, residents of the holy city, and the noble and grateful people of the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate with devotion and grandeur in the farewell and funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
