The enemy Israeli army continued its ongoing violations of the ceasefire yesterday, Sunday, 28/06/2026, as follows:

• An airstrike on a residential building in the city of Nabatieh.

• An airstrike on a residential building in the town of Meidoun.

• An airstrike on an open area in the town of Fouron.

• The shelling of residential buildings in the towns of Taybeh and Haddatha.

• An explosion in the town of Majdal Zoun.

• The dropping of sonic bombs near civilians in the towns of Bourj Qalaouiyeh and Baraachit.

• The dropping of suspicious objects over the towns of Upper Nabatieh and Kfar Tibnit.

Hezbollah reaffirms that the enemy’s actions constitute a blatant violation of the ceasefire to which it had committed. It confirms that it is monitoring and documenting these violations and reserves its full right to defend its homeland and its people.

And victory is from none but Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise

🇸🇾 | IOF operation in southern Syria fails amid escalating resistance activity:

israel intensified its military operations across the western countryside of Daraa and Quneitra in occupied southern Syria in the paat hours. Artillery shelling targeted the village of Abdeen in the Yarmouk Basin, while israeli warplanes maintained continuous flights over the western countryside of Daraa and Quneitra. Fighter jets dropped flare and thermal balloons over the area, and Apache helicopters later opened fire with machine guns on the village. The shelling forced residents of Abdeen to flee, while local villagers reportedly blocked the entrances to the village with stones to prevent the IOF from advancing.

During the operation, a lone Syrian gunman opened fire on IOF forces operating in the southern Golan Heights from within Syrian territory before successfully withdrawing from the scene. The IOF later acknowledged that one of its units came under fire during operations in Abdeen, returned fire, and launched a large-scale search operation after the attacker escaped. No casualties were reported among IOF forces, but the operation failed to capture or eliminate the attacker, who managed to evade the siege despite extensive aerial surveillance and military activity across the area.

In separate developments, two members of the Julani's forces, Zayad Tarik Al-Zoubi and Saad Malik Al-Zoubi, were killed, while Baraa Nawaf Al-Zoubi, commander of the 40th Division of the so-called Free Syrian Army, was injured in an assassination attempt targeting their vehicle in the city of Tafas in western Daraa. In another incident, Khaled Al-Jazrawi, also known as Aqram Al-Shami, an Uzbek national, military trainer in the elite “Liberation of Syria” Red Brigades and a member of the group’s internal security apparatus, was assassinated in the village of Al-Foua in the Idlib countryside.

🇮🇶: ❓| The truth behind Iraq’s anti-corruption campaign:

Information indicates that the recent dawn campaign began with the arrest of prominent figures in Iraq’s political process accused of corruption, including members of parliament and former advisers. There is no doubt that combating corruption is necessary, and everyone stands with the state in confronting this scourge. However, many crucial questions remain unanswered regarding why these operations began so suddenly.

Some initially claimed that the arrests were connected to the thwarting of an attempted coup, although this later appeared to be nothing more than a rumour. The Prime Minister’s Office stated that Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi was personally following the operation. Many observers believe the campaign is linked to Baghdad’s efforts to strengthen ties with Washington, with some suggesting that such actions formed part of the conditions for an upcoming visit to the White House.

Early claims that only Sunni politicians had been arrested also proved incorrect, as a number of Shia figures were reportedly detained as well. Other reports suggest that several of those arrested were known for advocating stronger economic, political, and social relations with Iran. Whatever the reality may be, there is still no clear official explanation addressing these conflicting claims.

More serious allegations have emerged alongside the anti-corruption campaign. According to these claims, the Federal Investigation Agency used the operation as cover to raid and pursue leaders of resistance factions under the pretext of combating corruption.

Was the government aware of these raids? According to these reports, the answer is yes.

One of the most significant allegations concerns a raid on the office and residence of Haj Hussein Mo’nes. According to these reports, there was a plan to arrest him, transfer him to Baghdad International Airport, then move him to one of the Gulf states before ultimately sending him to the United States for interrogation. The alleged scenario has been compared to the arrest and transfer of Mohammed Baqir al-Saadi from Turkey to the United States.

If these claims are accurate, the objective extends far beyond anti-corruption efforts. The reported target is not only Haj Hussein Mo’nes but also a wider group of resistance leaders, with the anti-corruption campaign serving as a public cover for a broader operation.

Nevertheless, the seriousness of the claims has led observers to argue that the public should carefully distinguish between genuine anti-corruption efforts and any parallel security operations that may be taking place under the same umbrella.

During his official visit to Iraq, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Nasif Jassim Al-Khatabi, the Governor of Karbala, on Sunday evening.

The Governor of Karbala conveyed his condolences over the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, along with a number of Iranian officials and civilians, following the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran. He also praised the resilience and steadfastness of the Iranian nation.

Al-Khatabi welcomed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s decision to hold the funeral procession of the martyred leader at Iraq’s holy shrines and announced the full readiness of Karbala’s local authorities and institutions to receive and serve the mourners and pilgrims.

Araghchi thanked the Iraqi government and the Governor of Karbala for their commitment to hosting the funeral ceremonies, expressing confidence that the occasion would bring blessings to the Islamic Ummah, particularly to the peoples of Iran and Iraq.
