🇮🇷 | Statement by Ayatollah Ali Akbar Seifi Mazandarani, a senior Shia cleric and professor of advanced jurisprudence, regarding Iran’s President Pezeshkian acting against the Supreme Leader’s opinion:

Honourable Mr. Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, if every official is allowed to act according to their own understanding and interpretation of God’s Book, then what is the point of the position of jurisprudence and the authority of the jurist?

From the perspective of Shia jurisprudence, all officials, including the President, are on the same level as the rest of the people. Their personal understanding, opinions, and deductions from God’s Glorious Book and the narrations have no validity or authority. Acting according to such personal understanding and interpretation is contrary to Sharia law.

The meaning and concept of the authority of the jurist is that the responsibility for preserving the Islamic system and protecting the interests of Islam and Muslims belongs exclusively, and not jointly, to the Leader of the Muslims, and is based on his understanding of the sacred Sharia.

I warn you, Honourable Sir, and all other officials: do not continue on this wrong path.

Islam, the Muslims, and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic have a Supreme Leader, and that Supreme Leader is the representative of the Imam of the Age, may God hasten his blessed reappearance. During the period of his occultation, the jurist who fulfills the conditions of fatwa and leadership, and who is accepted by the believers, is the legitimate leader of the people, the guardian of the Sharia and Shia doctrine, and the protector of Islam and the Muslims.

This people obey only the orders of the Leader of the Muslims. Anyone who, God forbid, acts independently of the Leader’s judgment in any position is considered to be acting tyrannically. I seek only what is best for your well-being, dear Sir.

We hope that you will not deviate from the path of the absolute authority of the jurist, nor make your personal understanding of the Glorious Qur’an, the Prophetic path, and the narrations of the Infallible Imams the basis of your actions, because doing so would only lead to deviation and the tyranny of personal opinion against the Leader of the Muslims.

Peace be upon those who follow guidance.

🇧🇭: 🇸🇦 | Bahrain and Saudi authorities intensify restrictions on Shia religious activities: A security raid on the Karbabad Eastern Ma’tam in Bahrain resulted in the arrest of the head of the Ma’tam, Al-Hajj Isa Al-Mu’min, along with a number of citizens…
🇧🇭: 🇸🇦 | Bahrain and the Saudi regime intensify their campaign against Shias:

The Bahraini regime has intensified its campaign against the Shia community during Muharram by arresting Husseini reciter Hussein Al-Majed and preventing Husseini preacher Hassan Al-Backri from continuing his Ashura-related activities. Authorities have also cancelled the mourning procession scheduled for the thirteenth day of Muharram on the island of Sitra, further restricting the public observance of religious rituals.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, restrictions on Muharram activities continue in Qatif and Al-Ahsa. According to Saudi opposition media, the “Al-Shabal Al-Husseini” program at Imam Al-Sadiq (A) Mosque in Awamiyah was banned on the seventh day of Muharram after years of providing educational, cultural, and moral programs for children and youth that reinforced the community’s religious identity and values.

Opposition sources stressed that “Al-Shabal Al-Husseini” was not a political or inciting activity, but an educational and cultural initiative dedicated to nurturing younger generations. Nevertheless, it was prohibited, a move many regard as part of the broader restrictions imposed on religious and community events during the Muharram season.

Despite these measures, reports indicate that the people of Qatif continued their mourning ceremonies at the historic fortress despite official attempts at intimidation, including helicopter flights over the area.

🇮🇷 | Security developments reported across Iran:

Several security incidents have been reported across Iran over the past few hours. At approximately 23:15 local time, the sound of an explosion was heard near the Taheroui Pier in Sirik. A military source stated that the explosion was caused by the impact of a projectile in the pier area. The same source added that around five hours earlier, several warning shots had been fired at vessels allegedly violating navigation rules in the Strait of Hormuz. Reports also indicate that two warning missiles were launched from the vicinity of Karpan toward the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, western Iran witnessed a deadly armed attack on a security checkpoint along the Baneh–Saqqez axis in Kurdistan Province. Initial reports state that two Iranian security personnel were martyred and five others were injured. Terrorist movements were also reportedly detected at several locations in the Sarshiv district of Marivan and Saqqez, prompting military and security forces across the region to remain on full alert for several hours.

According to initial reports received by Mehr News Agency, the attack on the Baneh–Saqqez checkpoint involved an armed clash. Some sources have claimed that the assault was carried out by terrorists affiliated with separatist groups, although this has not yet been officially confirmed. Authorities have not released further details regarding the identities of the attackers or additional information about the casualties.

Following the developments in Sirik, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that it had repelled what it described as an attack by American forces on the southern Iranian city. According to the statement, Iran’s naval and air forces thwarted the attack and forced the attacking forces to retreat. The Guard further declared that the incident would not go unanswered, adding that Iran’s response would be “swift and decisive” at a time and place of its choosing. Minutes later, the IRGC announced that it had carried out strikes against American military positions in the region.

🇮🇷 | The IRGC issued a statement after US attacked Sirik, southern Iran:

Following the Zionist regime’s violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, a few hours ago the treaty-breaking American regime also, as always, violated its commitments.

Under various pretexts related to the movement of a violating ship through an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormoz, it launched an air attack on the coasts of Iran.

In response to this aggression, the IRGC-Navy struck the US Army positions in the region.

According to Clause 5 of the Islamabad MoU, the arrangements for controlling passage and traffic in the Strait of Hormuz are under the authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

However, America, by provoking various sides, sought to violate this commitment, and the necessary response was given. From now on, it will be the same. If the aggression is repeated, our response will be broader than this.

🇱🇧 | Lebanon has entered a new phase of political uncertainty following the announcement of the Washington brokered Lebanon-Israel framework agreement. Presented by its supporters as a roadmap to end the conflict and stabilize southern Lebanon, the agreement calls for a phased Israeli withdrawal as security conditions are met, the deployment of the Lebanese Armed Forces across the country, the complete and verifiable disarmament of Hezbollah and all other non-state armed groups, the establishment of a US backed military coordination and verification mechanism, and the creation of joint working groups to negotiate a comprehensive peace and security agreement. It also places reconstruction, humanitarian assistance, and economic recovery under American coordination while preventing reconstruction funds from reaching Hezbollah or other armed groups. In addition, Lebanon reaffirms that only the state has the authority to maintain armed forces and commits to ending hostile political and legal actions while acknowledging the role of the United States in implementing the agreement.

Hezbollah has categorically rejected the framework, describing it as an agreement that strengthens rather than ends the occupation of southern Lebanon. Hassan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah’s Resistance Bloc in Parliament, said the Washington negotiations serve the interests of Israel at the expense of Lebanon’s sovereignty and reiterated Hezbollah’s firm opposition to any direct negotiations with the Israeli government. According to Fadlallah, instead of ending the occupation, the agreement creates conditions for the continued presence of Israeli forces in parts of southern Lebanon while weakening Lebanon’s sovereignty. He warned that direct negotiations would deepen internal divisions and urged Lebanese officials to abandon policies that contradict the interests of the Lebanese people. He further argued that the current political course represents an “unconditional slope” leading to Lebanon’s destruction and maintained that the developments in Washington are intended to dismantle the Resistance, without which no national project in Lebanon can succeed.

Public opposition followed almost immediately after details of the agreement emerged. Large crowds gathered in Beirut’s Riad Al Solh Square, Bishara El Khoury Square, and on the main road leading to Beirut Airport to protest the government’s acceptance of the framework. Lebanese media reported that security forces used tear gas to disperse demonstrators. The protests reflected growing concern among opponents who view the agreement not as a security arrangement but as a political normalization process that fundamentally alters Lebanon’s strategic position and compromises its sovereignty.

Political criticism has increasingly focused on President Joseph Aoun. Critics argue that for the past fifteen months he maintained a policy of inaction while the Resistance and large parts of the Shia community came under sustained military pressure, believing Hezbollah would eventually be forced either to surrender its weapons or defend itself in isolation. During this period, they allege, Aoun repeatedly sidelined Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in key political decisions, while Berri continued to avoid direct confrontation with the presidency. With the government now formally embracing the Washington framework, attention has shifted to whether Berri will continue supporting the current administration or confront what critics describe as a project that weakens Lebanon’s sovereignty and the political position of the country’s Shia community.

Opponents have described the framework as a treacherous agreement, arguing that it compromises Lebanon’s sovereignty, advances Israeli strategic interests, and places key aspects of the country’s security and reconstruction under external influence. They contend that it establishes a security normalization framework under which Lebanon becomes strategically dependent on the United States and Israel.

Particular criticism has focused on the establishment of a joint security committee, American oversight of reconstruction, verification mechanisms overseeing the Lebanese Armed Forces, and provisions that critics interpret as preventing Lebanon from pursuing legal or political action against Israel before international institutions. According to these opponents, the agreement grants unprecedented political and legal concessions that extend far beyond military coordination and fundamentally reshapes Lebanon’s future.

If implemented, the agreement is expected to trigger one of the most significant political confrontations in Lebanon since the end of the civil war. The demand for Hezbollah’s complete disarmament is widely regarded as the most contentious provision and is unlikely to be accepted voluntarily by the movement, which considers its military capabilities central to Lebanon’s defence against Israeli military action. Continued public protests, deepening political divisions, and prolonged disputes over implementation are therefore likely. Whether the agreement succeeds or remains largely symbolic will ultimately depend on the balance of power within Lebanon, the position adopted by Hezbollah and its allies, and the ability of external mediators to sustain the framework amid continuing regional tensions.

Fatal Silence & the Aoun Method

For those who do not know, Joseph Aoun's plan all along was as follows: He maintained inaction for 15 months as the Shi'a were being ethnically cleansed so that the Resistance and its community would be forced to either turn in their weapons and surrender or defend themselves on their own. Of course, he believed Hezb were finished after the 66-day war and the latter was highly unlikely, so his strategy was to sit back and watch, pressuring the Resistance into the former. During this period, Joseph Aoun stabbed Nabih Berri in the back at several political checkpoints, but Berri avoided even as much as a verbal political confrontation with Aoun. Berri said in March just a few weeks after the war began that as long as Aoun is President we can be at ease, and at the end of May, last month, that he opposes bringing down Nawaf Salam's government. But now, the government has made its most formal step in declaring its servitude to the Zionist entity, so what will Berri do? Will he finally face the so-called President and defend the country's sovereignty, let alone the Shi'a of Lebanon, from Aoun's project? Will he change his position on the government? Berri is one of the less predictable politicians in Lebanese politics, but one thing is for certain: maintaining his current silence will have drastic effects on his legacy, the Shi'a, and the future of Lebanon. This silence will be nothing short of fatal..

🔄 | Repost | Statement by Sunni scholars in support of continued smart management and control of the Strait of Hormuz:

Sunni scholars of Sistan and Baluchestan province, in a statement supporting the continued smart management and control of the Strait of Hormuz, said that restricting access to the strait for hostile forces should be considered a form of preemptive defense and a factor in strengthening national security.

The statement reads that the Strait of Hormuz is not an international waterway granting unconditional access to any aggressive state, but is instead located within Iran’s territorial waters and linked to the strategic position of the islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb. It further emphasizes that, in principle, the owner of a house holds its key.

According to the religious and customary view expressed by these Sunni scholars, in a situation where the country is under attack from multiple directions, the principle of legitimate defense and the jurisprudential rule of “no harm and no harming” justify the right to manage maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz in order to strengthen security and prevent the entry of vessels linked to hostile states into the Persian Gulf.

The Sunni scholars of Sistan and Baluchestan also expressed readiness, alongside Sunni tribes along the Makran coast, to support the IRGC Navy and the Army if required.

They further described certain political authorities in some Persian Gulf littoral states as acting against regional security, stating that allowing foreign military use of their territory constitutes a breach of good neighborly conduct and a threat to collective regional stability.

🇧🇭: 🇸🇦 | Bahrain and the Saudi regime intensify their campaign against Shias: The Bahraini regime has intensified its campaign against the Shia community during Muharram by arresting Husseini reciter Hussein Al-Majed and preventing Husseini preacher Hassan…
🇧🇭 | Researcher Abbas Al-Murshed (Bahrain):

This year’s Ashura season has been the most successful, not because the authorities wanted it to be, but because society reclaimed it despite the siege imposed upon it.

For the first time, a Bahraini can scarcely find a place beneath any pulpit due to the overwhelming crowds, the immense turnout, and the scale of attendance.

It is also the first time that the Shia identity and the Bahraini identity have aligned so closely with Karbala: an identity of resistance, steadfastness, and defiance, not one that waits in fear for permission, nor one tamed by the cost of standing firm.

They sought to spread fear, but they only made the people more determined. They arrested scholars in an attempt to empty the arena of awareness and guidance, yet the scholars became even more deeply rooted in the conscience of the people. They sought to besiege the pulpit, but its influence only grew stronger. They tried to extinguish the rituals, yet they shone even brighter.

🇱🇧 | Statement by Mohammad Raad, head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, regarding the new Lebanon-Israel framework agreement:

"It appears from the text of the statement issued by the so-called tripartite framework in Washington, which includes the United States, Israel, and Lebanon, that it relied on falsifying facts and concepts, particularly regarding the legitimate resistance and its right and national role, and regarding who actually represents the real and legal threat to Lebanese sovereignty. The statement deliberately reversed the facts and intentionally adopted and committed grave violations and immoral acts with prior intent and determination.

The statement also expressed the complete submission of the Lebanese authorities to the logic of American tutelage, and their collusion with the Zionist enemy against their own authentic people, who are committed to their land, reject Israeli occupation, and remain self-sacrificing, steadfast, and resistant to submission and surrender.

The position of the Lebanese authorities expressed in the statement goes beyond shame, disgrace, and baseness, to the point of relinquishing Lebanon’s sovereignty, the rights and interests of the Lebanese people, and their dignity and aspirations. It also reflects contempt for them, deception against them, and falsification of their free and honorable national will.

It remains to be said that the core and essence of this framework agreement lies in its malicious and sinister role, intended to cover the continuation of the Israeli occupation of Lebanon, and to provide an indirect way that the signatories to the statement believe would allow the United States to evade its explicit commitment with Iran regarding its responsibility to pressure Israel to fully withdraw from Lebanon and respect its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Thus, the preamble of this framework statement came to announce that Lebanon, under American sponsorship, has agreed to what Israel had conditioned for withdrawal, namely that both commit to disarming the resistance as a precondition for Israeli redeployment rather than a full withdrawal.

It is a disastrous and completely rejected statement, and it represents the hooting of an owl in Lebanon and the region. May Allah protect Lebanon and the Lebanese … and responsibility is entrusted to the honorable free people, the courageous patriots, and the sovereign defenders.

🖐 | Shaykh Naim Qassim (H): (1/2)

1. Where is the integrity of the Lebanese authorities and their responsibility toward their people and the protection of Lebanon’s sovereignty? The American sponsor did not grant them a ceasefire, and when it came to them through the Pakistan talks between the United States and Iran in April 2026, they rejected it. This led the Israeli enemy to commit the crime of Black Wednesday, in which hundreds were killed and wounded, people were terrorized, and destruction was inflicted through one hundred airstrikes across Lebanon, beginning with the capital, Beirut.

2. We told the authorities that direct negotiations are nothing but free concessions to Israel, because they are meetings that impose submission to the demands of aggression and to Israeli-American dictates in their entirety. You are entering these negotiations while at odds with more than half of the Lebanese people, and in violation of the Constitution and the laws that consider the Israeli entity an enemy and prosecute anyone who deals with it in word or deed. You have no card of strength with which to confront them because you voluntarily abandoned the strength of the resistance and the people. You stabbed the resistance in the back by considering it outside the law in the midst of the war and from its very first moment, through the government’s ill-fated decision of March 2, thereby serving the Israeli aggressive project. Playing with words and interpreting them contrary to their meaning is of no use. The results are the true measure. This is a squandering of Lebanon’s sovereignty in the eyes of both friend and foe.

3. The Iranian-American Memorandum of Understanding placed the cessation of the war on Lebanon as its first clause. When the Israeli enemy refused to comply, Iran suspended the agreement and continued to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until the United States exerted pressure and compelled the Israeli enemy to cease fire.

The first paragraph of the Memorandum of Understanding states:

“The United States, Iran, and their allies in the ongoing war, through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, declare an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, and undertake henceforth not to initiate any war or any military operation against one another, and to refrain from threatening or using force against one another, while guaranteeing the safety of Lebanon’s territory and its sovereignty.”

Negotiations and the conclusion of the final agreement are to take place within sixty days, according to the third clause of the memorandum.

The authorities rejected it once again until reasonable people and those involved in the Memorandum of Understanding made them understand that the firing would stop, something you had failed to achieve, and that this was in Lebanon’s interest. They also explained that negotiations over the Israeli withdrawal are in Lebanon’s hands and that no one negotiates on its behalf. This is the gift of honor, dignity, and strength from steadfast and proud Iran to Lebanon, its people, and its resistance.

The Memorandum of Understanding guarantees “the safety of Lebanon’s territory and its sovereignty,” and sovereignty is realized through the complete Israeli withdrawal, to be agreed upon within sixty days. This is a card of strength in Lebanon’s hands that it had never dreamed of possessing.

(2/2)

Yet the authorities, in the “framework agreement,” abandoned the sources of strength contained in the Memorandum of Understanding, as well as the strength of the resistance, its steadfastness, and the sacrifices of the great Lebanese people, and handed Israel what it wanted free of charge.

4. What is this terrible blunder? What is this grave sin of surrendering sovereignty to the Israeli enemy? Netanyahu allows the Lebanese Army to establish itself in two experimental areas. The enemy monitors its deployment and the steps taken toward disarmament, while the tripartite committee follows up on the enemy’s demands. The experimental period in the two areas may last for months, and no transition to another phase will take place except with a certificate of good conduct from the Israeli enemy and the implementation of what Israel failed to achieve on the battlefield. As Netanyahu said:

“Israel will remain in the security belt until Hezbollah is disarmed in Lebanon, and the residents will not return to the occupied area.”

The authorities are legitimizing the continuation of the occupation for many years, and these lands may even end up being annexed to the Zionist entity. This is an agreement that deprives the Lebanese people of returning to their land. What does the Israeli enemy have to do with our internal affairs in Lebanon? Any agreement should be confined to the area south of the Litani River and should have no connection whatsoever to any internal Lebanese issue concerning weapons, security, or the country’s future.

Linking the Israeli withdrawal to the disarmament of the resistance throughout all of Lebanon is an extremely dangerous proposal that crosses every red line and turns Lebanon into a plaything in the hands of the Israeli enemy.

Under the pretext that Lebanon must fulfill its commitment to disarm in order for Israel to withdraw from Lebanon, every single weapon anywhere in Lebanon would be considered evidence that Lebanon has failed to comply. Yet the weapons will certainly not be surrendered, and no one has the right to deprive the Lebanese people of their right to defend themselves and their land against the occupier of our land and the killer of our people. The enemy must withdraw because it is an aggressor and an occupier, under an agreement that addresses the direct causes, as was done on 27 November 2024. Any step beyond this limit is a reward for Israel after the defeat of its project and a squandering of Lebanon’s sovereignty.

5. The framework agreement in Washington is humiliation, disgrace, and a surrender of sovereignty. This agreement is null and void, and the provisions of the Iranian-American Memorandum of Understanding must be implemented. We will pursue, through all necessary means and international and Arab pressure, to ensure that the Israeli enemy abides by the first clause of the Memorandum of Understanding and withdraws from Lebanon.

We say to the Lebanese authorities: It is time for you to retreat from your grave mistakes that are ruining Lebanon. Doing so would be a virtue that would be recorded in your favor after these sins. We are ready to cooperate and stand together for the sovereignty of Lebanon, the liberation of its land, the expulsion of the Israeli occupier, the return of the prisoners, the return of the residents, reconstruction, the building of the country, and agreement on a national security strategy.

The ceasefire would never have been achieved were it not for the great sacrifices of the resistance fighters, their families, and the Lebanese people. We will preserve the trust of the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, the sacrifices of the people of the land, the Lebanese Army, and the sacrifices of all the bodies and groups that offered martyrs and wounded. We will continue, as a resistance, on the battlefield until the occupation is defeated. We did not leave the battlefield under the most difficult circumstances, and we will not leave it now, for this is the path to goodness and salvation.

🇮🇷 | Breaking — American aggression on southern Iran followed by Iranian strikes on US bases:

Around three hours ago, a series of American aggressions unfolded across southern Iran and the Persian Gulf. Multiple explosions struck the area of Tahroui village in Sirik after several projectiles hit a telecommunications tower. At the same time, several projectiles impacted the Mesen village area in Qeshm County. Explosions were also heard in Bandar Lengeh and Bandar Kangan in Hormozgan Province.

Air defense systems were activated across Bahrain as tensions rapidly escalated. An oil tanker escorted by the United States Navy reduced its speed from 14 to 12 knots while transiting the region, an unusual maneuver for that route. The slowdown came after Iranian forces reportedly fired a projectile toward the vessel shortly before the subsequent escalation.

In retaliation, Iran launched strikes against American military positions in the Persian Gulf. Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain was targeted with multiple Iranian drones and ballistic missiles, while Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait came under ballistic missile attack. Warning sirens sounded across Kuwait as the strikes unfolded, placing military installations throughout the region on high alert.

A second wave of missile strikes followed shortly afterward, targeting Bahrain once again. According to the latest information, one missile impacted Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, one missile impacted Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, and two Iranian drones precisely struck the Kuwaiti base.

Dear noble people of the Islamic Iran:

Your brave sons in the Naval and Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, during a joint missile and drone operation at 02:00-03:00 AM, targeted eight important U.S. targets, including Ali Al-Salem Airbase in Kuwait and the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet HQ in Bahrain.

The aggressor enemy, whose betrayal and violation of treaties are part of its nature, attacked early this morning five coastal sites in Iran under the pretext of confronting the IRGC Navy in response to seizing a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the Islamabad MoU, regarding traffic arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz with the Islamic Republic, from now on, ships that violate Iran’s instructions will be confronted with a greater force than before.

Any potential new aggression by the enemy for any reason, even if it is similar to last night's attacks on unimportant targets, will have a devastating response.

The enemy must know that violating the ceasefire is contrary to Paragraph 1 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and will lead to a complete halt in negotiations.
