A security raid on the Karbabad Eastern Ma’tam in Bahrain resulted in the arrest of the head of the Ma’tam, Al-Hajj Isa Al-Mu’min, along with a number of citizens, amid an ongoing crackdown on Shia religious institutions and mourning gatherings. In a separate development, Bahraini authorities also arrested Radoud Ahmed Abbas as part of what critics describe as a continuing campaign of persecution and repression against the Shia community. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, authorities prevented the commemoration of mourning ceremonies near the Prophet’s Grand Mosque (S) in the Dasha neighborhood of Tarout Island, continuing policies that restrict religious rites and target Hussaini councils during the days of Muharram.

On Ashura, the divine secret that explains the immortality of the cause of truth is manifested: how could the body of Imam Hussain (A), covered in sand without a shroud, defeat thrones and heavily armed armies? It is the logic of blood ascending to Allah, which established a great historical equation: that truth is not measured by numbers and equipment, but by the doctrine of steadfastness that breaks the tyranny of oppressors.
This Hussaini epic is not a passing event in history, but rather the methodology that shapes the present and directs the battle now. And we see this truth manifested before our very eyes today in the steadfastness of the Axis of Resistance, led by the Islamic Republic in Iran, as a strategic foundation for the free people of the world, and especially in the valor and sacrifices of the Hezbollah mujahideen in the field, who carry the banner of Hussain (A) with full awareness and capability. They are writing with blood and fire the very same equation: the sword of the contemporary Yazid will break before the Hussaini fists, and the banner of truth will remain fluttering over the peaks of victory.

Many may be wondering the significance of Ashura that is being commemorated by many of the Muslims, specifically the Shia. It is mentioned in the statements of the leadership of the Resistance but its significance may not be known to all.
The event of Ashura refers to how the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Imam Hussain (as) stood against the tyrannical caliph of his time, Yazid to fight against his unjust behavior and preserve the principles of Truth and Justice in service to God. He faced an army of thousands with his family and a band of 72 companions in a land called Karbala in Iraq.
Due to his stand, he and his companions were brutally martyred, his family and children were slaughtered and taken captive to the court of Yazid where the speeches of his sister and last remaining son triggered a revolution that led to the eventual overthrow of the tyrant Yazid.
It is this calamitous battle that is mourned and commemorated by the Shia and other Muslims on the 10th day of Muharram according to the Islamic calendar every year as the event of Ashura.
When he set out, Imam Hussain (as) made it clear that his struggle was not for worldly power or gain but rather to uphold justice, enjoin people to do good and forbid them from evil in service to God. This has become the essence of the Axis of Resistance and the core principle from which it draws its tradition of bearing witness to the Truth through martyrdom.
This is its school, whose Prophets are martyrs, whose Imams are martyrs, whose scholars are martyrs. Mocked derisively as a nation of tears shed for Imam Hussain (as) for centuries, it is these tears that have brought down many a corrupt tyrant.
Just as they encircled Imam Hussain (as) with swords then, rained arrows upon his companions, burnt the tents of his family and slaughtered his children, today the forces of injustice encircle the oppressed in Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, Iran and elsewhere with their thugs, rain bombs upon them, destroy their homes and hunt their children.
In that sense, we recognize that every day is Ashura, every land is Karbala and the struggle continues against falsehood and injustice.
We shall persevere and triumph for the blood of the martyrs inevitably triumphs over the swords of the oppressors and God is with the patient. From Him have we come and to Him shall we return.

The Islamic Resistance announced that the IOF once again deliberately targeted Lebanese civilians who were traveling on the eastern Zawtar road to inspect their homes, claiming they posed a threat to its occupying forces. According to the statement, the attack took place at 14:40 and involved a rocket strike from a hostile source, resulting in the martyrdom of two civilians who were directly targeted and the injury of a third.
The Resistance stated that this marks the third documented case of such actions and described the attack as a blatant violation of the ceasefire that it says it has continued to observe. It further stressed that it is monitoring these repeated violations.

On this day of Ashura, we mourn the greatest caravan of martyrs.
From the pierced body of Imam Husayn (A), swaying upon the saddle of Zuljanah, to the long caravans of martyrs from Lebanon, Iran, Gaza, Iraq, and Yemen, along with their children, their women, and their youth, the memory of sacrifice continues to march through history.
This caravan of martyrs, walking behind Imam Husayn (A), is led by the greatest martyrs of our time in our memory and remembrance; Imam Sayyid Ali Husayni Khamenei including Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din, whose sacrifices continue to inspire those who follow the path of Karbala.
Peace be upon Husayn (A), upon Ali ibn al-Husayn (A), upon the children of Husayn (A), and upon the companions of Husayn (A).
