They openly practice subordination to foreign powers and confirm that they are part of a sword hanging over the necks of the Lebanese people. How can anyone trust them or deal with them as partners entrusted with our country? How?

The Lebanese government’s failure to comment on the American sanctions targeting MPs, security officials, military personnel, and politicians condemns it.

Our dear people, today I address you directly, speaking to your minds, spirits, hearts, and sense of responsibility. You are the sons of the supreme martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the sons of the disappeared Imam Sayyed Musa al-Sadr. My confidence in you, as is the confidence of all my brothers in the leadership of Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance, is that you are the sacrificing, patient, and honorable people, and a model for all free people in Lebanon, the region, and the world.

You are the symbols of dignity, pride, and human honor. You are the people and environment of the heroic resistance fighters, and of all those who struggle and fight for freedom, security, and sovereignty. In peace as in war, you are the measure of sincere national, moral, and humanitarian commitment in both stance and choice. You are the echo of Imam Hussein’s cry in Karbala, committed to his path of reform and righteous change under the leadership of our leaders, our great religious authorities, and our devoted scholars. You are our patient and honorable people.

We, your sons and brothers in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance, and your sons and brothers in the Amal Movement, represent in this moment a generation from among your generations, raised in your embrace with faith and commitment, loyal to God, His messengers, and the righteous believers entrusted with authority. We are devoted to liberation and justice, struggling for security, sovereignty, and dignity, refusing humiliation and oppression, and rejecting submission or surrender to any enemy. Greatness belongs to God alone, and then to those among His servants who draw near to Him through faith and righteous deeds.

We in the Islamic Resistance are a generation steadfast upon truth, loving toward people, open to them, respectful of their rights, resistant to falsehood and its symbols, and devoted to supporting the oppressed and their causes.

It is enough for you, our people, to take pride in your sincere support for the cause of Palestine, your steadfast position against the Zionist occupation and its racist entity, your support for liberation movements against colonial powers, and your determination to strengthen all positions opposed to aggression, domination, the oppression of the weak, and the theft of their rights and decisions.

May God increase your honor and dignity, for you stand with the oppressed regardless of their identity or affiliation. You are advocates of goodness, justice, reform, and stability. Beside you, the weak feel safe and honorable people grow stronger. With you, people place their trust in loyalty to promises and commitment to agreements with fellow citizens, allies, friends, and all those who share common positions or interests with you.

You have always been, and will remain, faithful partners in your homeland Lebanon, which grows through you, and through what is achieved in it of sovereignty, dignity, security, justice, freedom, and shared human coexistence.

Even if some people miscalculated, or demeaned themselves by accepting submission, humiliation, or foreign guardianship in pursuit of authority, security, influence, or personal interest at the expense of their homeland and people, your certainty in the necessity of remaining steadfast upon your rights is part of your nature. Your faith is the greatest protection against being deceived twice in the same way.

Because you are the pillar of the homeland’s tent, refusing firmly for it to be occupied, threatened, stripped of sovereignty, or subjected to pressure, blackmail, or foreign control, and because you form the strong barrier against the expansion of Zionist influence and domination, you are today facing the fiercest destructive war aimed at breaking your will through the destruction of your homes and villages, your displacement from your land, and the ongoing threats of evacuation, killing, and bombing.

And because the will of your sons and brothers in the resistance is an extension of your own steadfast will, and because the resistance’s weapons, driven by that will, remain the true obstacle to consolidating occupation, stability, and domination, the forces of evil supporting the Zionist entity and its aggressive project are today conspiring against you. Roles are being distributed internationally, regionally, and locally in order to bend your arm and impose submission and surrender upon you. How strong you are, our people!

Because we and you understand the danger of what they seek, and their terrifying targeting of our collective security, sovereignty, rights, interests, culture, wealth, resources, economy, and independent national decision, we rejected and continue to reject their project. Together we confronted their aggression and war. We fight and resist without weakening or surrendering. We endure and remain steadfast. We suffer, and we make others suffer.
