In the Bekaa region, raids were reported on Sahmar and Yahmar.

Hostile drones also conducted strikes on Jibshit, Al Zrarieh, the area between Adchit and Jibshit, and Batoulieh.

IRGC announces seizure of anti security shipment in West Azerbaijan

According to the public relations office of the Hamzeh Seyed al Shohada (AS) Base of the IRGC Ground Force, intelligence units in West Azerbaijan province discovered and seized a heavy consignment of anti security items allegedly linked to anti revolutionary groups while it was being transferred through the border area of Urmia.

The shipment reportedly included large quantities of explosives and combat ammunition, including 198 explosive devices.

The IRGC stated that the materials were allegedly intended to be moved into deeper areas of the country to create insecurity, but were intercepted through intelligence operations and what it described as timely action by its forces.

🇮🇷 | Reports on developments in the Strait of Hormuz:

• Around 1500 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz are reportedly waiting for permission from the IRGC Navy. On frequency 16, vessels are said to hear a broadcast stating: “This is the Persian Gulf, the path of authority. Get permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz...”

• The newly formed Persian Gulf Strait Authority is reportedly set to manage operations in the Strait of Hormuz and has launched an official X account, promising real time updates on developments in the area.

• Iran and Oman technical teams met for coordination on the Strait of Hormuz file, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on Monday.

• In his weekly press conference, Baghaei said the new arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz are aimed at ensuring safe passage while preserving Iran’s sovereignty and legitimate rights.

• He described draft UN Security Council resolutions on Iran and the Strait of Hormuz as unacceptable, saying they fail to identify the aggressors. He added that Iran’s positions in negotiations remain firm and principle based.

• Baghaei stated Iran’s demands include the release of frozen assets and the lifting of sanctions, which he described as unlawfully withheld rights. He also said negotiations are ongoing and not phased, adding that claims regarding enriched uranium are inaccurate while reaffirming Iran’s right to enrichment. On regional relations, he stressed Iran has no hostility toward neighboring countries, including the UAE, and said Tehran seeks peace and stable relations with all neighbors.

Separatist Kurdish group PJAK launched an early morning attack with three vehicles on the Mirge Naqshineh mine in Saqqez, Kurdistan, setting fire to mining equipment before withdrawing from the site. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

In light of the developments taking place in the region, and the accompanying American and Zionist movements targeting Iraq’s security and stability, the enemy continues to seek a new escalation against the resistance and the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The patience of the men of the resistance is no longer unlimited in the face of continued violations and transgressions targeting Iraq’s sovereignty and its people.

Accordingly, we point to the following:

First: The abductee Muhammad Baqir al-Saadi does not belong to Kataib Hezbollah, and he will be returned to his homeland with his head held high because he is among the supporters and admirers of the resistance.

Second: Most American and Zionist reconnaissance operations originate from Jordan, as a prelude to carrying out hostile acts inside Iraq. The government in Amman should take heed from what happened in the recent war, as patience is running out.

Third: Based on available information, the Americans and Israelis are seeking to launch a new aggression against leaders of the Islamic resistance and the Popular Mobilization Forces. We therefore warn against any targeting of Iraqis, and any response will be directed at the Americans across various domains, and they will bear full responsibility.

Fourth: Petraeus, through his foolish decisions most notably flooding Iraq with occupation troops at the time helped turn their bases into “duck hunting grounds.” If there is an intention for his return to Iraq, we believe it will give us an opportunity to achieve further accomplishments.

🇮🇷 | Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, in response to a question about reports that Saudi Arabia has proposed a regional non-aggression agreement among Middle Eastern countries with Iran, and whether such an agreement is even possible in principle given the presence of US military bases in the region, said:

“I cannot confirm a specific proposed plan, but it is clear that all countries in the region, in light of the developments of the 40-day war and the insecurity imposed by the American military presence in the region, are reconsidering their defense matters and may make certain adjustments.

From the perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we still believe that regional security should be ensured through mechanisms agreed upon by the countries of the region, and that building the necessary mutual trust to achieve this goal would be welcomed and supported by us.”
