🇮🇷: 🇨🇳 : 🇮🇳 | Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking at the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ meeting in New Delhi (May 14, 2026), stated that Iran has been subjected to two “brutal and illegal” acts of aggression by the United States and israel within less than a year.
He said these attacks were justified by false claims that contradict assessments by the International Atomic Energy Agency and even US intelligence evaluations, stressing that Iran is a victim of unlawful expansionism and war-mongering that threatens global stability.
Araghchi emphasized that despite heavy pressure and attacks, the Iranian people have remained steadfast, refusing to surrender their independence or submit to external domination. He said Iran has demonstrated resilience under bombardment and hardship, and remains committed both to defending its sovereignty and pursuing diplomacy, insisting there is no military solution to issues concerning Iran.
He also highlighted that Iran represents a broader struggle against Western hegemony and called BRICS a symbol of an emerging global order led by the Global South. He urged member states to strengthen cooperation to end what he described as US claims of exceptionalism and immunity in international affairs, arguing that such attitudes must be rejected in the current global system.

Today, the peoples of our countries are closer to each other than ever before, and we cannot ignore the shared and dangerous threat we all face.
History has shown that declining empires will spare no action to avoid their inevitable fate. A wounded animal on the path of decline lashes out in desperation. This can be seen in the atrocities that the West has either directly pursued or shamelessly supported financially and politically in the Global South, whether in Asia, Africa, or Latin America. What was once considered unimaginable and deeply shameful is now either ignored or openly accepted in Western capitals, including horrific genocides, blatant violations of national sovereignty, and open piracy in international waters.
These crimes, and the silence of the West in response to them, are only possible when there is a false sense of immunity and impunity. This illusion of superiority and protection must be broken by all of us.
Therefore, Iran calls on BRICS member states and all responsible members of the international community to explicitly condemn violations of international law by the United States and israel, including their illegal aggression against Iran; to prevent the politicization of international institutions; and to take practical steps to stop war-mongering and end the impunity of those violating the UN Charter.
We believe BRICS can and must become one of the key pillars in shaping a more just, balanced, and humane global order, one in which power never replaces justice.
Nations that stand for their dignity and independence may endure hardship, but they will never be defeated.

🇮🇷/ 🏴 | Martyr Hojjat al-Islam Mohsen Mahdavi Kalateh (r), deputy minister of intelligence of Iran, one of those lesser-known martyrs whose name is rarely mentioned.
His life is presented as a narrative of sincerity, simplicity, and quiet struggle. It is noted that his home was in a modest and poor neighborhood in Tehran, where many people would not even be willing to live for a month. His wife said that while playing with his children, he would sometimes fall asleep from exhaustion amid the noise, would leave after morning prayers, and often would not return before midnight.
It is stated that this quiet fighter was ultimately assassinated on March 9, the first day of the war, and was martyred.
It is shocking, from the perspective of the so-called international system, how limited the response has been from institutions of international law, human rights bodies, and global conventions when it comes to the killing of senior state officials.
The martyrdoms of Iran’s defense minister, intelligence minister, and his deputy have received little visible accountability or meaningful reaction from the international community. This sense of silence becomes even more pronounced when figures of high religious authority are targeted, including the topmost leader of the Islamic world.

🇱🇧/ 🏴 | Israel is doing to Lebanon what it did to Gaza.
Harsh scenes document the final moments of a father and his son in southern Lebanon, reportedly monitored by an Israeli drone before being targeted while on their way back to their home.
Deeply shocked to see families in southern Lebanon being targeted, hunted, and killed by the IOF. It feels as if there is no real space left for mourning them or honoring their sacrifice in a meaningful way.
It seems their suffering is not truly being reached or acknowledged. There is very little voice or lasting attention for their pain, only brief reactions as people scroll past and move on.
What is happening now feels as if even remembrance itself is becoming fleeting, almost like a passing trend rather than a sustained act of solidarity.

What do you think about China’s foreign policy toward Iran after US–China talks?
❎ | The highest percentage may prove true. China appears to be acting mainly according to its own interests, possibly in return for American silence or flexibility on the Taiwan issue and other strategic concerns. In return, China may take a different position on Iran regarding the Hormuz plan. We may witness more “betrayals” in global politics.
