1. A military source speaking to Tasnim stated that clashes in the Persian Gulf have currently stopped, though the situation remains volatile and the possibility of renewed fighting remains. According to the source, the IRGC Navy initiated fire attacks in response to what it described as “American terrorism” and hostile actions against Iranian oil tankers, characterising the U.S. strikes as a violation of the existing ceasefire.

2. Mohammad Mokhber, advisor and assistant to Supreme Leader Khamenei, stated that Iran will never abandon the Strait of Hormuz due to its strategic importance, describing it as having capabilities “rivaling the atomic bomb.”

3. The Governor of Minab County, Mohammad Radmehr, confirmed that a civilian cargo vessel was struck by U.S. forces late last night near the coastal waters of the Hormozgan region.
