🇱🇧 | Southern Lebanon under heavy attack as battles intensify in Khiam, Debbine and Bint Jbeil:

Israeli raids continue across southern Lebanon, with multiple strikes intensifying the battlefield. A raid targeted the town of Khiam, while another struck the area between Baraachit and Beit Yahoun. Additional attacks hit the town of Jbaa in the Nabatieh district, where the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of four people. Airstrikes were also reported in Tyre, including one that targeted a delivery driver while he was delivering food. Flares were launched over a mountainous neighborhood in Khiam, reflecting the ongoing aggression.

Netanyahu and Katz are supervising the battle in Bint Jbeil. At the same time, Hezbollah announced that it targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy military vehicles and soldiers in Bayyadah with a rocket barrage, and later confirmed targeting an enemy tank in Bint Jbeil.

The scale of attacks on April 15 was extensive, with hostile warplanes, drones, and artillery targeting a wide range of areas across southern Lebanon, including Jbaa, Kherbet Douair-Babliyeh, Yater, Haris, Tibnine, Al-Tiri, Nabatieh Fawqa, Qleileh–Haniyeh, Ansariyeh, Barachit, Bureiqa, Sair Al-Gharbiyeh, Al-Bayyad, Al-Nafakhiyeh, Deir Al-Zahrani, Majdal Zoun, Bint Jbeil, Mifdon, Al-Qatrani, Qassibeh–Bureiqa, Wadi Barghaz, Arnoun, Debbine, Kfar Tebnit, Al-Mansouri, Ayta Al-Jabal, Bani Hayyan, Jouya, Housh–Batoulieh, Al-Majadel, Froun, Al-Zarariyeh, Abba–Al-Qassibeh, Beit Yahoun, Toulin, and many others. Drone strikes targeted multiple additional areas, while heavy artillery shelling struck dozens of locations, including Debbine, Khiam, Beit Yahoun, Tayr Debba, and surrounding regions, with repeated bombardment across the south.

Meanwhile, the battle in the town of Debbine has intensified significantly. New Israeli raids were reported by Al Mayadeen, followed by battles on the outskirts from the direction of Ibl al-Saqi. Israeli forces attempting to advance into the town were met with a well-planned ambush from three axes, leading to very violent battles at the entrance of Debbine. The first Israeli movement was detected and immediately confronted by resistance fire, and helicopter evacuations of Israeli casualties were reported, indicating losses on the ground. The surrounding towns are largely Christian with no local defenders, adding further sensitivity to the situation. The battle continues to rage, with intense exchanges, artillery fire, flares overhead, and ongoing resistance operations shaping one of the most intense fronts of the war.

✅ | The fate of ceasefire talks is in vain once again, though there are no substantial reports from the Iranian FM, while statements from Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir have been published. It is clear from different sources that the American stance remains stuck on the Hormuz and nuclear files. At the same time, pressure and attempts to separate Lebanon from Iran are ongoing, which further confirms that America does not want the end of the war, but rather to prolong it. However, today another round of meetings between Araghchi and Munir is anticipated today, but it seems more covert than what is being presented.

The news related to the implementation of a ceasefire in Lebanon remains ambiguous, as it is circulating in American and Pakistani media. The letter that Munir carries appears to reflect American dictation to extend the so-called ceasefire for two more weeks. The question is—for what? The main reason seems linked to the cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv aiming to achieve deeper goals in Lebanon before any agreement (also confirmed by Mr. Khaleel Nasrallah).

On one side, Munir keeps Tehran engaged, while on the other side, Tel Aviv has announced its demands. The Israeli army has set three conditions for any agreement with Lebanon:

• A buffer zone up to the Litani River

• Maintaining Israel’s freedom of action in Lebanon

• A long-term path to disarming Hezbollah under American supervision

All these conditions, presented before a ceasefire, confirm that there is no relief but increased pressure, and an attempt to annex southern Lebanon, impose a approx. 10-kilometer buffer zone, and force the surrender of the resistance.

However, information indicates that Tehran has not agreed to the ceasefire extension despite the American request. The Iranian stance suggests developments are ongoing, but still requires clarity. According to reports, Tehran demands implementation of existing commitments instead of extensions, rejecting excessive demands. This stance aligns with Leader Imam Mujtaba Khamenei, whose military advisor Mohsen Rezaei stated: “We will not abandon the Strait of Hormuz until our rights are fully restored. Trump resorted to blockade after defeats; it is psychological warfare and will not affect negotiations. Americans fear long wars, but we are prepared for wars of attrition. Trump is under immense psychological pressure.”

If we analyze Mohsen Rezaei’s position, it clearly indicates that any new demands on the Strait of Hormuz will likely be rejected. He further added: “Trump is influenced by Netanyahu and American-Zionist capitalists. The American failure stems from misunderstanding global shifts, political mismanagement, and military ignorance. The war is not over; the enemy seeks to create division and discord, but our position is superior in both field and diplomacy. Unlike before, we are now setting the terms. We remain in military silence, but will not give up our rights.”

At this stage, the entry of the Pakistani delegation appears as an attempt to create divisions, but this is unlikely to succeed as Leader Imam Mujtaba Khamenei is supervising the overall direction. The reality is that the American-Pakistani-Israeli nexus is attempting to impose its framework. The statement of Mr. Qalibaf confirms that Iran will not proceed without Lebanon, and that the struggle will continue. He stated: “The comprehensive ceasefire in Lebanon depends on the resistance and unity of the Axis of Resistance. The United States must comply. Resistance and Iran are one soul, in war and in ceasefire.”

With all developments, America is intensifying economic pressure through multiple blockades. The US Treasury announced: “We have asked Gulf neighbors to freeze Iranian and Revolutionary Guard funds.” This reflects a serious escalation, possibly linked to recent diplomacy involving UAE, Turkey, China, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and European countries. There is thick uncertainty, and it must be cleared to fully understand the unfolding situation.

📕 | Those who think government officials simply follow and strictly act upon whatever the Leader of the Revolution commanded and commanding should return to the words of the martyred leader:

1) Martyred Imam Khamenei (r) on 05/12/2022

Some people even claim to have political understanding, yet their analyses in certain newspapers or parts of social media truly cause regret. They say that in order to stop and silence the unrest that has been stirred up in the country over the past few weeks, and these are people who claim to be politically aware and knowledgeable about global affairs, you must resolve your issues with the United States. They write this explicitly. Or they say you must listen to the voice of the people. I have seen these two expressions repeated: resolve your problems with America, and listen to the voice of the people.

Well then, how is the problem with the United States to be resolved? This is a real and serious question. We are not looking to argue; we are asking: how can this problem be solved? Will sitting down and negotiating with the United States and obtaining commitments from them solve it?

If we sit with America, negotiate, and demand that they do certain things and refrain from others, will the problem be resolved?

Take the case of the Algiers Agreement during the hostage crisis in 1981. At that time, I was a member of parliament, though I was at the front in Ahvaz. Here in Tehran, officials engaged in indirect talks through Algeria and made an agreement. It was approved by parliament, so it was not illegal. They obtained several commitments from the United States: to release our assets, lift sanctions, and refrain from interfering in our internal affairs. In return, we released the hostages. But did the United States honor those commitments? Did it lift sanctions? Did it return our frozen assets? No. The United States does not honor its commitments. So this is the result of negotiating and sitting down with America.

Or consider the nuclear deal. They said if you reduce your nuclear industrial activities, though they did not dare say to completely shut them down, we will lift sanctions and take other steps. Did they do so? No, they did not. Therefore, negotiation does not solve our problem with the United States.

Yes, there is one thing that would resolve the problem with America: giving concessions. And not just once. The Americans are not satisfied with a single concession. If you give one today, they will demand another tomorrow, and then another the day after. Today they say suspend nuclear activities, first 20 percent, then 5 percent, then dismantle the entire program. Then they will demand changes to the constitution, then the removal of oversight bodies. This is how they operate.

If you want to resolve your problem with the United States, you must keep giving concessions repeatedly, across all fundamental issues, and cross all your red lines. America wants you to confine yourself within your own borders, weaken yourself, and dismantle your defense industries. What self-respecting Iranian would accept such demands? Even someone who may not support the Islamic Republic, but still has a sense of national dignity, would not accept this.

America will not settle for less than this. Why is this not understood? Negotiation with the United States does not solve problems. If you are willing to continuously give concessions, then yes, America will leave you alone, just as it did during the Pahlavi era. But the people carried out a revolution precisely to escape that situation, and many gave their lives for it.

This is a country that is progressing, with young people working actively in all fields. Is this how we should speak to them? Is this what we should tell them?

📕 | Those who brag that Imam Mujtaba Khamenei asked for negotiations or wanted to negotiate must understand that such analysis misses the point of what Imam Ali Khamenei has consistently emphasized. It reflects a lack of awareness of political realities and internal affairs, and instead resembles blind following supporting anything without reflection, then expressing regret afterward.

Slogans alone—“we happy are with you” and “we cry with you”—are not enough. What is required is awareness and responsibility. The internal setbacks, pressures, and suffering of the martyred leader did not happen in isolation; they were also enabled by those who failed to raise their voices and fulfill their duties, remaining silent under weak assumptions and confusion. The leader left a lengthy legacy of his stances on these issues and crises; however, if cannot always be applied directly to the current scenario, which is very different from the past. The consideration of such political imbalances and mistakes must be included in the framework of analysis.

...Others should make use of your experiences (the government of Mr. Hassan Rouhani). There is one particular lesson I have noted, a point I have repeatedly mentioned in conversations with you and with the people, and I will repeat it again here. This lesson is the lack of trust in the West. Future generations must benefit from this experience.

During this government, it became clear that trust in the West does not work. They do not help us, and whenever they can, they strike. Where they do not strike, it is only because they are unable to. Wherever they have had the capacity, they have struck. This is a very important lesson. Internal programs should absolutely not be made dependent on cooperation with the West, nor conditional upon it, because this will certainly lead to failure and harm.

Wherever you tied your work to the West, you failed. Wherever you acted independently and without reliance on the West, you succeeded. Examine the record of the eleventh and twelfth administrations. Whenever you linked matters to agreement or negotiation with the West or the United States, you stalled and could not move forward, because they do not help; they are hostile. But whenever you detached from them and relied on your own capacities, using various methods and possibilities, you made progress. There are many paths in life, not just one.

Regarding the recent negotiations, a brief point should also be made. Our diplomats worked hard, and some performed well. However, the Americans remained firmly on their hostile position and did not move forward. On paper or in promises, they say they will lift sanctions, but they did not and will not.

They set conditions, saying that if you want sanctions to be lifted, you must include clauses that allow further interference in future issues. If such clauses are not included, they refuse any agreement. This becomes a pretext for continued interference in matters such as the JCPOA, missiles, and regional affairs.

This is their current approach: unfair, malicious, and based on breaking promises. They have violated agreements before without paying any cost, and when asked for guarantees, they openly say they cannot provide any.

This is a critical experience for future governments and political actors and must always be kept in mind.

🇮🇶 | Islamic Resistance in Iraq - Ashab Al-Kahf:

In light of the ceasefire to which the Islamic Resistance axis in the region has committed, the intelligence apparatus of the Ashab Al-Kahf formation has monitored military preparations on the ground by the American and "israeli" enemy in the Kurdistan region. This preparation is taking place in cooperation with the security services in the region, as information indicates that the American enemy will arm the Kurdish clans residing in areas adjacent to the administrative borders of the federal government and plans to cause them to clash with security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces, with support from a force present inside the region that came from outside the borders.

We are not currently in the process of revealing the entire file, and we call on all security services to be prepared and stand against this plot which the enemy has prepared against the sons of our people of all ethnicities, after it went bankrupt in its futile war and received what it received from the axis of resistance.

From here, we say that we have previously taken our stance to confront the enemy's plots and defend Islam and our country from the evil of the occupation, and we remain true to our covenant.

We also do not forget to point to and praise the heroic operations and legendary steadfastness of our brothers in Hezbollah, the sons of the nation's martyr, in confronting the "israeli" enemy. We say to them that we are in the field, our weapons are ready, our fighters are stationed at their outposts, and we are working according to the plan prepared by the axis of resistance.
