| Regarding the situation in Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, we would like to draw attention to think over impractical optimism. In this context, this optimism has harmed us more than raising the issue itself. We were afraid to talk about the ground situation and Syria being lost. At the same time, we were afraid not to share more details, otherwise someone might say they are spreading pessimism and working for enemies.

Furthermore, the situation in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil continues to deteriorate. Israeli forces are in the center, while optimistic discussions continue. Meanwhile, Hezbollah tactics involve ambushes and certainty that they will act, but many besieged defenders have been killed following Israeli bombardment, along with the deployment of several divisions and many elite units including Maglan, Egoz, and others.

At the same time, Hezbollah is inflicting damage on its enemies through continuous attacks on Israel. In addition, there are real conditions in southern Lebanon where areas have been destroyed and reduced to rubble. Hundreds have been killed, and more than ten thousand have lost their lives. Many are missing.

Some may feel other scenarios: what if the battle had been fully imposed at the time when Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah was martyred and conditions were somewhat different?

Moreover, current updates show that Hezbollah is in a “do or die” stage, and its leader has announced that its stance is only resistance. As a result, it is clear it will go on for long.

Furthermore, there are chances that Israeli forces may be intending to assassinate Sheikh Naim Qassim (God Forbid) in the coming days. If they do, another severe wound will be inflicted. From dawn until now, a number of Israeli raids have taken place in the following areas: Al-Khardali, Al-Mahmoudiya, Ansariyeh, Al-Shabriha, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, Tibnin, Adloun, Arabsalim, Deir Aames, Aytit, Qalawiya, Arnoun, Al-Housh, Sahmar in Western Bekaa, Al-Qulaila, Shemaa, Siddiqin, Baraashit, Tulin, Burj Qalawiya, Qabrikha, Deir Kifa, Shebaa, Kfardounin, Jouya, Jbaa, Arabsalim, Al-Masilah, Shebaa, Al-Sama’iya, between Kafra and Siddiqin, Jouya, and Mahrouna, among others. The attacks are now increasing...

Finally, we pray for Hezbollah and the resistance fronts in Lebanon to carry out this duty and remain steadfast. In conclusion, we call on the world to take a stand for the free people of Lebanon, to support them, and to help them.

🇮🇹 | Italy announced ending its defence agreement with Israel after their significant contribution to Gaza, Lebanon and Iran war.

…but it cannot whitewash its complicity and crimes.

Italy’s most notable contribution in the genocide is M-346 “Lavi” jet trainer; every Israeli pilot currently operating F-15, F-16, or F-35 aircraft over Gaza was trained on these Italian jets, which form the backbone of the Israeli Air Force’s flight academy. Beyond training, Italian-made Oto Melara naval guns, mounted on Israeli Sa’ar-class corvettes, have been used directly to shell targets along the Gaza coastline. Furthermore, Italy’s role as a primary manufacturing hub for F-35 components means that parts produced in Italian factories are integrated into the stealth fighters used for precision strikes.

🇰🇼 | Kuwait detains journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin in widening crackdown on media posts related to US-Israeli war on Iran

According to Drop Site News, prominent journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin has been held in Kuwait for six weeks and faces prosecution before a special tribunal over social media posts linked to the US-Israeli war on Iran, in what rights groups describe as part of a broader regional tightening on online expression amid the US-Israeli military escalation in the region.

Shihab-Eldin, an US-born Kuwaiti citizen with a large global following and a career spanning outlets including PBS Frontline, The New York Times, and Al Jazeera English, was arrested on 3 March in Kuwait City and has remained in detention with limited access to legal counsel. Charges reportedly include spreading alleged false information and content deemed harmful to national security, including material already circulating publicly online.

The case is being handled by a newly established special court for state security and terrorism-related offences, set up by decree in late March, with authorities saying it is designed to speed up such cases. His detention comes alongside a wider pattern of arrests in Kuwait and the Gulf over social media activity. (Cradel reports)
