🇮🇷 | With mourning drums, Iranian and resistance flags, and slogans ranging from “death better than abasement” to calls against compromising tactics, along with pledges of allegiance to Imam Mujtaba Khamenei and the armed forces, once again, on the 48th day of the ongoing war, millions of Iranians across all 31 provinces were seen filling the streets and alleys. These mobilizations are not symbolic; they directly impact the social and political fabric of Iran. Their impact is direct and precise. Videos from the past hours show mass mobilization of Iranians, along with foreigners in Iran, coinciding with the mourning procession marking the martyrdom anniversary of the 6th Imam, Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (A).

🇺🇸 | The American carrier strike group centered around USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) was operating east of Cyprus (approx. 33.75°N, 29.18°E). It had already been present in the same area two days earlier, confirming that it is not in transit and is expected to remain stationed there until further operational orders are issued.

Satellite imagery shows the carrier being refueled by a supply vessel, escorted by at least two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers (escort radius typically 5–20 km, equipped with Aegis missile defense systems). The delayed release of imagery by the European Space Agency, approximately 24 hours, indicates sensitivity around naval deployments in the eastern Mediterranean.

The USS Gerald R. Ford is the most advanced aircraft carrier in the American fleet, a 100,000-ton nuclear-powered supercarrier, carrying over 75 aircraft and a crew of approximately 4,500–5,000 personnel . Its air wing typically includes:

• F/A-18E/F Super Hornets (strike fighters)

• EA-18G Growlers (electronic warfare)

• E-2D Hawkeye (airborne early warning)

• F-35C Lightning II (stealth strike capability, if deployed)

It uses advanced systems such as the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and multi-band radar, allowing higher sortie rates and faster operational cycles.

From its current position in the eastern Mediterranean, the carrier remains outside immediate coastal threat zones but still within extended strike range of Iranian capabilities. If it moves further east toward operational hotspots, it may enter deeper into contested missile engagement zones.

Iran possesses a wide range of missile systems, including:

• Short-range ballistic missiles (300–700 km)

• Medium-range ballistic missiles such as Ghadr and Shahab variants (1,300–2,000 km)

• Cruise missiles and anti-ship systems designed for maritime targeting

This places large parts of the eastern Mediterranean, Arabian Sea, and Gulf within layered Iranian strike reach.

A notable development has been the absence of American warships from the confined waters of the Persian Gulf. In anticipation of escalation around February 28, U.S. naval units repositioned left the Gulf to reduce vulnerability to close-range missile and drone attacks.

The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) has been operating in the Arabian Sea (approx. 18°N, 65°E) at a distance of roughly 320 km or more from the Iranian coastline, sometimes even further.

Iran’s strategy is not based on direct naval confrontation but on asymmetric warfare, including:

• Saturation missile attacks (large volumes to overwhelm defenses)

• Drone swarms targeting ships and infrastructure

• Anti-ship ballistic missiles targeting high-value assets

• Proxy-based regional attacks on bases and logistics

The absence of warships in the Gulf, combined with carrier positioning in the Mediterranean and Arabian Sea, indicates a shift from proximity-based dominance to distance-based deterrence.

At the same time, Iran’s expanding missile reach and asymmetric capabilities mean that even distant deployments are not entirely outside its operational envelope.

| Taken from Marwa Osman’s profile, originally shared from Jalees Hyder’s wall:

Lately, we are witnessing the normalization of something deeply disturbing: the sexualisation of resistance figures: spokesmen, leaders, fighters.

And this is being called "solidarity" and "humanization". It is NOT.

Fetishizing those who are fasting, grieving, under bombardment, resisting and carrying the weight of an entire people is not admiration. It is dehumanization.

It reduces struggle into mere spectacle that too according to hollow standards we never ever adopted to. It turns principle into something consumable. It also allows distant spectators to feel involved without ever being accountable.

This too is a fact that true is not new. Empire has always thrived on turning the oppressed into objects: to be watched, desired, circulated, and consumed.

What is new is how openly this is now performed, and how easily it is defended. We must all come together to stop this harm from further being encouraged and normalized.

| We hope our 15–60-year generations do not fall behind the fetishization and slogan-based normalization of these losses, which did not occur to entertain or to be displayed for pride.

Resistance against occupation, being killed, harassed, tortured, and martyred, must not be celebrated or normalized in a superficial way. Sacrificing oneself is indeed one of the highest virtues one can attain, and many have followed the man who led this front for decades. But we must not forget the struggle and the reason behind it. Yes, they sacrificed themselves for a cause—not secular, not merely plural—but rooted in a vision of Islam that seeks coexistence with peace.

Resistance is indeed a choice, but it is for those who truly strive on that path. These men, women, and children are pure in their vision; they have fallen and risen for the same cause. However, the mindset of “one goes, another will come” should not be turned into a form of enjoyment or careless expression.

One must remember that an Imam of these martyrs once advised a child who wished for martyrdom to instead live a full life—reach old age, complete responsibilities, and live with dignity—before attaining such an end. Yet today, while we stand before the legacy of martyrdom, we must demand an end to its fetishization.

Instead, its sanctity, God-conscious preaching, preservation of the memories of martyrs, their realities, and cultural values must be upheld. Imam Khamenei has repeatedly warned cultural officials not to fabricate or exaggerate the stories and wills of martyrs, but to preserve them in their pure and truthful form.

Their memories must be honored with seriousness and with a clear understanding of the reasons for which they rose.

| In the midst of fetishisation and the demarcation of specific slogans, promoting only “good-looking” (?) martyred faces in cyberspace, while twisting and removing context, stripping Islam from the lives of martyrs, and celebrating them as secular heroic figures, often leads to the erasure of the reason, the cause, and the entire resistance that was fought. This was clearly warned about in the words of the Martyred Imam years ago:

Imam Khamenei (r) said:

Do not allow the dust of forgetfulness, which is sometimes deliberately spread over these precious memories, to settle upon them. Do not select one and remove others; keep all of them alive. Officials must also fulfill this duty; those in the Martyrs Foundation are responsible, and so are other governmental and public authorities. Families, too, within their own circles of influence, should carry out this task.

Never neglect the name of the martyr or the pride associated with them. Hostile propaganda has tried to gradually diminish the value of martyrs and, in some cases, even turn it into an anti-value. This did happen in our country; such attempts were made, though they were ultimately neutralized. Yet some went so far in their brazenness as to question the very name of the martyrs and the principle of martyrdom itself.

🇺🇸 | The aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) has reportedly avoided crossing the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

According to the U.S. Navy’s media updates, the carrier is currently operating off the coast of Namibia (approx. 22.5°S, 13.5°E) and is moving eastward toward the Arabian Sea (approx. 18°N, 65°E).

This route indicates a wide southern Atlantic–Indian Ocean transit path, bypassing the Red Sea corridor and its associated Yemeni chokepoint risks.

| Imam Mujtaba Khamenei (H) has pointed toward such issues:

...Claims of strange miracles are often attributed to them, but many of these are false. However, I personally know things that are no less than some of these claims, and perhaps even more. I have seen them with my own eyes, but they are not the kind of things that can be spoken about. Not miraculous claims like walking on water or similar extraordinary notions, no.

In some cases, for example, some friends of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah went to discuss matters related to the 33-day war or what followed. When some believers become attached to something, they tend to exaggerate it and go beyond the correct line, whereas reality is what it is.

Now, when some people who know he is not present begin fabricating statements in his name, it becomes what is technically called deliberate fabrication. Gradually, this leads to distortion, and when something is said incorrectly, something entirely different emerges.

Those who know the reality understand that it is not like this. For example, someone might say, “He lives in the house of Imam Mahdi,” and then a few people react by saying, “What a lie!” and from that conclude that everything else said about him is also false. This is how things get distorted. It then becomes assumed that if one claim is false, everything else must also be false.

We have seen this kind of pattern since the beginning of the revolution, since 1979, though in a different form at that time, and now it appears in a different form. For example, someone in prayer at night who had recently gone to the front lines said something about seeing certain spiritual states during night prayer, and others exaggerated it until it became absurd. Some dishonest individuals then used this to claim he had completely lost credibility.

Anyway, I want to say this: I am against exaggeration. But the speeches of the leader, after this long period, are in such a form that if they are taken as they are, they are already clear and precise. They do not really require heavy editing or reinterpretation; when transcribed into written form, they remain straightforward and clear.
