✅ | It seems the 15-day talks will revolve around the Hormuz toll. Trump is focusing on this issue, and to accept certain demands, he might try to negotiate aspects of the Hormuz toll. However, this is not the main reason for the American push for a ceasefire. In their military strategy, they failed to reopen it, so they are now using it as bait in the negotiation game. They may divide 10 demands into parts, claiming sanctions will be lifted only if they gain shared benefits from Hormuz. If not, they may threaten attacks on Iran. Neither Trump nor his backers will allow Iran to gain Hormuz benefits easily; what will truly fix this is the strength and decisiveness of Iranian responses.
