Friday, the 14th of Farvardin, marking the 35th day of the imposed war by the American-Zionist enemies, was a day of great pride for the country’s air defense units.
The steadfast and courageous fighters of Islam were able, with strength, speed, and precision, to deliver heavy blows to enemy fighter jets, helicopters, drones, and aircraft, and shot down a significant number of them.
This Friday, which can be called a “black and humiliating Friday” for the American and Zionist enemies, saw the advanced air defense system of the IRGC Aerospace Force successfully target a fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet, three strategic drones (MQ-9 and Hermes), and two radar-evading cruise missiles. The IRGC Ground Forces air defense, using available weapons, also struck an advanced A-10 fighter and two Black Hawk helicopters. Meanwhile, the Army’s air defense forces, under the country’s integrated air defense network, also hit an advanced A-10 fighter.
We had previously stated that we would demonstrate our capabilities on the battlefield.
The enemy should know that we possess modern air defense systems built by the knowledgeable and honorable youth of this country, which are being unveiled one after another in real operational conditions.
We will certainly achieve full control of our country’s skies and will further demonstrate the humiliation of the weak enemy to the world.
