🇮🇷 | Brigadier General Hossein Mohibi has been appointed head of the Public Relations Deputy and spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Following the martyrdom of Brigadier General Ali-Mohammad Naeini, Hojjatolislam Hajj-Sadeghi, the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC, ordered Brigadier General Mohibi’s appointment to the role.

Brigadier General Martyr Ali-Mohammad Naeini had previously been appointed to this position in August 2024 by the order of Hojjatolislam Hajj Sadeghi (H).

💥 | In the past six hours, two waves of Iranian ballistic missiles and Hezbollah-launched rockets and drones have struck U.S. and Israeli positions across the Middle East, including Gulf states and northern occupied Palestine. Two primary Iranian missile waves occurred, followed by ongoing strikes targeting military bases, industrial sites, and critical infrastructure.

In Kuwait, American bases and positions were hit by swarms of loitering munitions and ballistic missiles, causing significant disruption and ongoing fires. Explosions were also reported across Bahrain and the UAE, including the Ajban area and a hotel housing U.S. personnel in Dubai’s Marina district, which caught fire. American CH-47 Chinook and other rescue helicopters were reportedly targeted while attempting to extract personnel, forcing retreats under fire.

In northern occupied Palestine, Iranian missile and drone strikes targeted Haifa, Western Galilee, Kafr Kanna, Kiryat, Safad, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva, Bnei Brak, and surrounding towns, with sirens blaring across the region. Industrial and chemical facilities were hit, including the Adama company in the Neot Hovav industrial zone and a chemical plant in the Negev. Reports of fires, structural damage, and injuries have been confirmed. Hezbollah simultaneously launched rockets and drones from southern Lebanon toward Nahariya, Western Galilee, and Haifa, with at least 15 rockets reported in the second wave. Explosions were also recorded in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Baghdad’s vicinity, targeting U.S. bases and personnel.

Iranian air defenses engaged in an extensive campaign, successfully shooting down two cruise missiles near Khomein and Zanjan, two MQ-9 drones over Isfahan, one Hermes drone over Bushehr, and an advanced enemy fighter jet in central Iran. The IRGC continues monitoring and controlling Iran’s airspace with integrated air defense networks.

Additional attacks were reported in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Bahrain, with Iranian missile and drone strikes targeting U.S. assets. Civilian alerts were issued in occupation, including sirens across Al-Jalil, HaAmakim, the Negev, Dead Sea, Arava, and southern West Bank. Fires and structural damage in Tel Aviv, Dimona, and surrounding areas were reported, along with partial power outages.

Two Members of the Enemy’s Terrorist Team Executed in Tehran

Aboulhasan Montazer and Vahid Bani-Amirian, two other terrorists from the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) terrorist group in Tehran, who were carrying out missions assigned by the hostile enemy, were executed following their trial and confirmation of their sentence by the Supreme Court.

Members of this armed MEK team had carried out multiple terrorist attacks and explosions under the guidance of the enemy’s coordinators throughout Tehran.

Aboulhasan Montazer, son of Seyyed Jafar, played a key and influential role in leading the team. Together with the deceased Mohammad Taghavi, he used funds provided by the MEK to secure safe houses for the group’s operations and to house other associates in organizational residences.

According to the case file, items related to operational activities and explosive launcher preparation were discovered in these team safe houses used by MEK elements.

Aboulhasan Montazer was a formal member of the MEK terrorist organization and, under the direction of the group’s coordinators, carried out propaganda and harassment activities. Alongside other team members, he executed armed operations in line with the group’s objectives.

Using funds provided by the MEK through cryptocurrency, he rented and maintained team safe houses, which were also used as workshops for manufacturing launchers and improvised explosive devices.

Vahid Bani-Amirian, son of Mohammad, was another member of the MEK team involved in this case. He and Aboulhasan Montazer were arrested while attempting to carry out a launcher operation with four launchers in their possession.

He was also a formal member of the MEK terrorist organization and, after reconnecting with the group, initially carried out propaganda and harassment activities in line with the MEK’s objectives. He participated in attacks on various locations, stayed in a hideout for some time, and purchased mobile phones and SIM cards to communicate with the group’s coordinators via Telegram.

After their arrest and judicial proceedings, Aboulhasan Montazer and Vahid Bani-Amirian were charged with rebellion through direct involvement in multiple terrorist acts and explosions under the guidance of the MEK, membership in a rebellious group, conspiracy to commit crimes against national security through communication with the MEK’s coordinators, carrying out harmful actions in support of the MEK aimed at overthrowing the Islamic Republic of Iran, membership in a terrorist organization intending to disrupt national security, and forming groups with the purpose of undermining national security.

Following examination of the case, defense statements, law enforcement reports, the defendants’ arrest during the commission of the crimes, seizure of launcher-making materials and disguise items, CCTV footage, and credible confessions, the court found them guilty and sentenced them to death.
